Young actress Anne Hathaway wowed the Academy Awards crowd when she showed off her song-and-dance talent alongside host Hugh Jackman. Someone was obviously paying attention to her skills and a lightbulb went off. Smart man/woman!

Movie news! Anne Hathaway has signed on to play 'The Wizard of Oz' starlet Judy Garland in both screen and stage adaptations of the biography 'Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland.' Seems pretty accurate to us. Anyone disagree?

Go Figure Robert Downey Jr. ...recovering addict is the most honest celeb

Oscar nominees Robert Downey Jr, Brad Pitt, and Anne Hathaway and Frank Langella recently took part in a round table discussion running up to this Oscar season. In it the celebrities did the usual tooting of their own horns. But one question brought out the BS-meters. We all have a BS Meter, and we regular people use when we watch the news or anything on TV. It's how we tell when we are being lied to and expected to buy it as the truth. After all, how many of us believe everything we hear and see on TV?

The group was asked if they ever Internet searched their own names. Taking the politically safe answer, Anne Hathaway at first denied it as if it would make her a narcissist. After all, I don't any of us regular folk consider Hollywood actors and actresses as vain self-serving out of touch with reality types. They are just... people. Right? And normal people do in fact google themselves, especially if they are smart. Right away my BS-meter goes off when Anne Hathaway denies googling herself. Fraud, narcissist.

Brad Pitt, wow. My man Brad. The guy we men aspire to be like... His answer? "Dear God. No. Never. First of all, I don't really know how to operate a computer."

Now I have to ask myself, do I believe this? It's either total BS or Brad is a modern day dumb azz. He can act like he is smart, but he is not actually smart? Is this why he fell for Angelina? Don't get me wrong, what man would toss that body out of bed, but do you marry such a woman? I can speak from experience a woman that good looking has one goal, to dominate you. Brad must have one thing going for him when I seen answer such as this. The guy can act! You wait folks, years from now when he and she are divorced. He'll want his balls back.

Which brings us to Robert Downey Jr. A man that has served hard time in jail for screwing up over and over. His pure willpower and talent is what has kept him alive I'm sure of it. But most of all, the guy is real. He opens his mouth and real words come out. If you ask me which of these guys I'd want to go play paintball with or go fishing, I have to admit ...now it's Robert Downey Jr. Why? Because he's not full of crap.

Downey chimed in with his answer to the google question: "Oh, I love all that (expletive) personally. Sorry. I love just it. Because it's a hoot. Some people overstate their support, like they know you. Other people are busy doing something else and just want to go on this chat site and say some despicable character assassination, which I honestly think: 'They kind of nailed it. I do have that shortcoming.' It's really fun."

Now of course sensing it's safe to now go into the water what does Hathaway do? She comes clean: "OK, I have a confession. I lied before when you asked if I Googled myself. I do. I'm embarrassed by it because I know how terrible it is. ... For a while, it cracked me up. I found a ton of humor in it. But recently it's changed. There's a big difference now where information is being reported as news. And I'm very uncomfortable with that." Go figure folks.

You have to ask yourself. Why is it we listen to these people at all? And to think thousands if not millions of Americans hang on the words of some of these celebrities for political insight and answers.

Well... at least they can act which if you think about it, is a lot of BS.

'Bride Wars' Movie Premiere

Last night power house actresses Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway were on hand for the big New York City premiere of their new movie, "Bride Wars."

The women showed up at the AMC Loews in Lincoln Square to pose for pics and meet and greet fans before heading inside for the screening. The press is already slamming Hathaway for the disappointing choice of wardrobe that she wore to the premiere. She certainly doesn't look horrible but we know that she had the potential to look 10x more fierce, right?

Bride Wars opens at the end of this week and is about two best friends become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day.

Anne Hathaway's 'W' Photoshoot!

Simply stunning! Actress Anne Hathaway posed for a 'W' magazine photoshoot for their October issue and the results (as you can see here) are beautiful!

In the issue, Anne finally is speaking about her Italian entrepreneur Raffaello Follieri, who has pleaded guilty to all 14 counts of conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering. That should be interesting!

Her new film, "Rachel Getting Married," has showed at the Venice and Toronto Film Festival and is already getting great reviews and some people are even talking, "Oscar," and "Anne Hathway," in the same sentence!

Anne Hathaway Declares Her Love For Obama

At the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, Princess Diaries actress Anne Hathaway told press that she wasn’t sure how she first felt about presidential candidate Barack Obama - revealing that she was hesitant to trust Obama because she had placed her trust into other candidates and been let down before.

“I’ve been burned by politicians before that I wanted to believe in and just didn’t live up to it,” the star explained. “And I was afraid to trust him and I was afraid to have hope when I first kind of became aware of him.”

It was Obama’s speech on race that swayed the Get Smart actress’ opinion, “I just said, ‘I can’t deny how I feel about you, Barack Obama. I want you to be the president. I want you in the White House." Well, there you have it, looks like Hathaway is an Obama fan!

Anne Hathaway Exposed

You think you got problems? Think again, poor Anne Hathaway just keeps getting bad luck shoved her way. Hathaway, 25, has been the subject of non-stop tabloid coverage following her recent breakup with scam artist Raffaelo Follieri of Italy. Follieri, 30, was arrested in June for fraud.

The FBI seized Anne Hathaway's personal diaries in order to dig up more dirt on her scumbag of, Raffaello Follieri. Turns out there are nude photos of Anne among the items seized by the FBI when they raided her ex's secret storage space.

Hathaway’s brother tried to recover the pictures from a storage unit, only to find out that the FBI had beaten him to it the day before, according to Gawker.com. They claim to expect a leak of the photos online soon.

FBI Seize Hathaway's Personal Items

On their second raid of Raffaello Follieri's Trump Tower apartment, the FBI took personal items hoping to strengthen their case against him, the New York Daily News reports. Among the items were the princess's diaries.

Though Anne Hathaway, the Italian businessman's former girlfriend, has not been charged with anything, the FBI confiscated her personal documents, to be used in his prosecution.

Other items seized include photos of Follieri with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Pope John Paul II, and John and Cindy McCain.

Also seized were documents, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique Bible, and personal photos of Follieri and Hathaway.

Since his arrest Hathaway has severed all ties with Follieri, going as far as changing all her contacts.

“She’s changed her numbers so he can’t reach her,” a friend said. “Raffaello has been trying to call her all the time.”

Follieri, 30, has been charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering. He was hospitalized the first day of incarceration for an anxiety attack.

Anne Hathaway Is Newest Face of Lancome

Actress Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada) has just been announced as the new spokeslady for Lancome's new fragrance that will launch later this year.


"Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity," Lancome said in a statement. "We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance, to be launched throughout the world in September 2008."
