Anushka Sharma locks lips with Shahid Kapoor

Actor-turned-director Parmeet Sethi has put in, not one but three intimate lip-locks between the lead pair, Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma for his forthcoming YRF film and according to sources, the kisses are not the brush-of-the-lips type. They are full-on smooches.”

However, initially Anushka was not comfortable with the idea. Parmeet had to do a lot of cajoling. He explained to her in detail how the scene would be shot and how it was important to the story. Once the camera was rolling, Anushka left her inhibitions behind and delivered a smashing scene.

 

But things took an ugly turn when someone from the set captured the smooching scene between Shahid and Anushka on their phone. When Anushka found out she was quite furious. She immediately asked for the cell phones of everyone present on the sets to be checked and the clip to be deleted.

 

The shooting of the film has been completed and the film is in the editing stages. It is for us to wait and watch if the three smooches go unedited in the final print.

Anushka Sharma is contract-bound to do her next two films

Anushka Sharma was kept under wraps before her debut film with Shah Rukh Khan, Yash Raj Film’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, was released. Something tells us that even now, after the film has released, you won’t get to see much of her. That’s because she is bound by a contract to do two more films with Yash Raj, who aren’t in a particular hurry to do that.

"Yes, I’m under contract to do two more films with Yash Raj," says Anushka. She also admits that the next film is not around the corner. "Adi (Aditya Chopra) and I were both busy with Rab Ne… Now they will have to decide what I’m doing next. But I must say I’m itching to get back in front of the camera."

There’s also talk that Anushka was kept away from the media for a tad longer than necessary. To this, Anushka is quick to defend her banner. She says, "I was kept away from the media’s glare for a reason. I wanted to focus completely on my film. And it served the purpose."

We point out to Anushka that she wasn’t not presented with the finesse and sophistication associated with a typical Yashraj heroine. To this she says, "You are right. Even when girls are supposed to be simple, in a Yash Raj film she’s always glamorous. But you see, I can always get into chiffon saris in my next Yash Raj film."

Anushka Sharma feels on top of the world as she got the dream offer of making her debut against the King Khan. Deepika Padukone was also one of the fortunate actress in Bollywood who got to work with SRK right in her first movie.

Apart from Shahrukh, what Anushka has her side is the prestigious Yash Raj Films banner. The movie would surely put her on a high pedestal and give a rocking start of the career of this 19 year old model.
