Celina ,Nandy,Sonam Kapoor expressed their support to Bipasha Basu

After Celina Jaitley, Bollywood personalities Pritish Nandy and Sonam Kapoor have expressed support for actress Bipasha Basu whose voice is alleged to have figured in taped conversations with former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.

"I believe @bipsluvurself (Bipasha) when she says she is not in the Amar Singh tapes. Doesn’t sound like her at all," Nandy posted on his Twitter page.

Sonam added: "I agree. A bunch of vicious losers are doing this! It doesn’t sound like her at all. It’s so improbable, it’s almost funny."

Bipasha herself has denied that it’s her voice in the controversial tapes, which were barred from publication in the media since 2006 until Wednesday when the gag order was lifted by the Supreme Court.
Former beauty queen-turned-actress Celina had also extended support to Bipasha. She said she had heard the tapes herself, and was confident that the girl in the tape was not Bipasha at all.

Celina Jaitley for Diya Jewelry

Diya Jewelry, a new segment of Jewelry brand by Gitanjali Group, has chosen Celina Jaitley as its brand ambassador. The brand has the philosophy as ‘Born of Dreams’ and it believes that Jaitley’s life reflects this philosophy truly. Celina hails from a small town and winning the title of Miss India and having a dream journey in Bollywood seems to have every girl’s dream come true. The campaign required a sweet face which would represent a girl wandering in her own world of fantasies and fairytales and Celina fits this image perfectly. The imagery of the campaign is very dream-like and ethereal, set against nature and is based on the transformation/ metamorphosis of the beautiful diya woman into a dove / pea cock etc.

Says the actress, “Diya is the next biggest thing in India when it comes to diamond jewelry and in the most exotic beautiful designs I have ever seen. The whole ad campaign is out of this world and surreal. Dabbo brings magic to the pictures, the peacock inspired creation by neeta lulla gives it an ethereal feel. And I, the mannequin, feel like a princess of another world altogether and makeup artist Ojas has done his wonder for the second time again after the proactive international ad campaign.”

The photo-shoot for the campaign is done by Dabbo Ratnani, costume is by Neeta Lulla, hair and make-up is by Ojas Rajani and the creative director is Priya Pardiwala.

Celina Jaitley virgin till marriage

Bold and beautiful Celina Jaitley is not a big mouth but she stands up for what she believes in and is quite vocal about it. The hot actress has stunning answers for questions that normally make females blush.

At a recently held promotional event for her new movie, Accident On Hill Road on TV channel Zoom, Celina gave some of the honest replies you have ever heard from a woman.

When asked how sexuality in Indian cinema and in our society has undergone a change, she replied, “I feel sex never changes. Sex is the same, like it was ten years ago, (or) during the Kamasutra days. Even now it’s the same. What has changed is that people want to be politically correct or diplomatic while talking on this subject today.”

Later, while facing the obvious question on female virginity, Celina gave a no-holds-barred reply, “Human beings are hypocritical! We all are. Myself included. I am going to call myself a virgin till I get married. As simple as that. Yes, I am hypocritical and every actress who comes here will say the same. So you got to take my word for it.”

Celina Jaitley is lucky not only in having a pretty face and an enviable figure but also when it comes to having a hair-breath escape from death. It so happened that while shooting for her South film ‘Sreemati’ opposite superstar Upendra, she faced an accident which could turn out to be fatal had it not been for her luck.

While shooting, the camera buggy was supposed to go past her while she was standing near an outcrop, but unfortunately it swung out of control, toppling Celina who just managed to grab a buggy rung. She lost her grip on that too but the camera assistant Ram Gopal Mishra grabbed her and that saved her.

Celina shudders at the memories and says, “I escaped severe injuries by falling into shallow rocky seas from a great height.

When Celina caught her boyfriend with another man!

Actress Celina Jaitley has known gays all through her life. Her first boyfriend, for instance, was a gay. There’s a reason why Celina is taking up the gay cause so fervently, despite all the hate mails she’s getting from people. Many of her close friends have been gays. Her first brush with a homosexual was at the tender age of 16. Baring her heart out to a news network, Celina revealed that she first fell in love with a handsome man when she was just 16. He was many years elder to her, but he confessed his love for her. But as the relationship progressed Celina noted something strange about him. He would always meet her publicly and would be furious if Celina met him when he was with his male friends.

Celina confesses that gradually her relationship with him began to sour. He began to physically abuse her. She even suspected that he was seeing another woman. Then, one day, Celina decided to check up on him. She made an unannounced visit to his house and ‘caught him’ with his male friend. The truth was revealed. The man was gay. But leaving him was still very difficult for Celina. She struggled with her feelings, and was at the receiving end of another phase of physical abuse before she decided to end the relationship. Years later, the two got in touch again and became very good friends. Unfortunately the man died soon. After that, Celina says, she has befriended many gays and she has come to “believe that the kind of person you are has nothing to do with your sexuality.” She says she would continue to fight for gay rights, irrespective of the hate mails she gets from people.

Celina Jaitley's miserable 27th birthday

Celina bought in her 27th birthday on Monday with an illness in the family. Says the birthday girl, "My puppy Gooblee was unwell the whole day. My parents left Mumbai and my dog didn’t take well to their absence. So she swallowed plastic. The entire day before my birthday the vet was trying to pull the plastic out of his throat. Not a very pleasant way to bring in my birthday."

However, Celina is getting herself a BMW to cheer herself up this birthday. "I need that boost. I’ve been working hard and my Golmaal Returns is a hit. So I need to indulge myself. I know a girl’s best friend are diamonds. But she needs a posh car to get to the jewellery store. So a BMW. And then I’m lucky in so many ways. I’ve friends who are so supportive. And parents who love me for what I am."

"It’s a rather happy place to be in. Unfortunately, none of my family members are really in Mumbai to celebrate my birthday with me. And to me that’s not a very happy birthday for me."

Celina spent the day with destitute girls whom she sponsors. "It’s an organization called Regina Spaces which looks after destitute girls. I’m associated with it. I threw a birthday party for my girls. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them smile. Wish my family was here."

Celina describes herself as unlucky in love. "So maybe for my 27th birthday God will grant me romantic love. About time I got lucky in love." Technorati Tags: Celina Jaitley, Hot, Pictures, Sexy, Actress, Bollywood, Gossips

Celina Jaitley desperately looking for love

Celina Jaitley is fed up of being linked with her co-stars. It all started with her alleged link up with Emraan Hashmi while they were working together in Jawani Diwani and was followed up with Govinda as they were doing Money Hain To Honey Hain together. Now there are rumors floating around in media circles about her latest lover boy being her Golmaal Returns co-star, Tusshar Kapoor.

A hassled Celina denying her alleged affairs as mere rumours tells us, “It is so strange that someone who has been alleged to have affairs is looking for love desperately.”

“I am just good friends with Tusshar and we got along famously during the Goa and Bangkok schedules of Golmaal Returns is all I can say. We worked together and there is nothing more to it. I simply do not understand this link-up rumour business!” says Celina.

“I am missing love in my life. I have been single for three and half years. Besides love, I have everything going great in my life. I have a busy year ahead. Tusshar has been very supportive and I really appreciate that.” Celina adds.

Sounding pretty excited about her upcoming release, Golmaal Returns she says, and “I think I have formed a relationship with comedies instead”. (Laughs) My co-star in the film is Shreyas Talpade and it is my third film with him. I enjoy working with him. I must admit that I grow every time I do a scene with him. His comic timing is so good. We used to improvise our scenes together a lot. It will all reflect on screen when you see it on big screen.” Celina concludes.

Tanushree Dutta out,Celina Jaitley in

Not long back, Tanushree Dutta was replaced by Rakhi Sawant in ‘Horn Ok Pleasse’ owing to her problems with Nana Patekar. The history here seems to repeat itself coz, once again, Tanushree has been ousted from a film and replaced by Celina Jaitley this time. The movie here in question is Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision’s ‘Run Bhola Run’.

It seems that Tanushree had shot for the film for two days but was apparently not happy with the production company and had started throwing tantrums. The members did not take to this attitude problem kindly. So it was Out Tanushree and in Celina. Celina has already done a shot for the film at Essel World.

Celina confirmed that she is working on the film. She said, “I have started shooting for Run Bhola Run.I have heard so much about Neeraj Vohra and his working style. I’m looking forward to having a great time on the sets.”

Parag Desai, the official spokesperson of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, said, “Tanushree had some combination dates issues, so Tanushree is no longer part of the film. We thought of replacing her with Celina as we have worked with her in Golmaal Returns. The film is fast racing towards completion.”

However, Tanushree Dutta said, “There were no problems during the shooting of Run Bhola Run. I had to opt out of the film as there were date issues. The film got delayed and I could not accommodate the dates due to my prior commitments. I had shot for the film only for a day and that too only one hour, and not for two days. I have very good working relations with Ashtavinayak as I have done Bhaagam Bhag with them earlier. We have been trying to work together but I guess it’s jinxed. We have parted ways amicably and will definitely work together in another film in the future.”

Celina in a de-glam avatar

After a dashing item number in C Kkompany , Celina Jaitley will now be seen in Golmaal Returns . But contrary to her glamorous image, Celina will be playing a very simple role this time.

Telling us more she said, “For a change I am playing a very de-glam role. My character’s name is Meera Nair. She is a South Indian girl who is studying in Mumbai. I have a totally new get up in the film. I am very excited about my role.”

Being the new addition to the Golmaal team, was Celina bullied by Ajay Devgan and other actors? “Everybody was playing pranks. Rohit Shetty (director) is the biggest prankster. But we had a lot of fun. The good thing is that we all got along really well. As a result the chemistry in the film is pretty good. I am opposite Shreyas in the film. Shreyas and I have very good comic timing in the film. Also, to work with seniors like Kareena and Ajay with whom I have never worked before was a wonderful learning experience.

“I am getting the same vibes for Golmaal Returns as I did for No Entry . It is bigger than Golmaal and will be enjoyed by all,” said Celina on a concluding note.

Celina Jaitley stood up for Gay Rights

Former Miss India and not so famous actress Celina Jaitley has stood up for Gay Rights. She participated in their Pride Parade at Girgaum Chowpatty in Mumbai.

Celina tells us, “Gays are God’s own creation like you are God’s own creation. It is not their choice to be a part of this uncommon community. Why shouldn’t they live peacefully and freely with a person of their choice? Do you know what stress they undergo when people around them treat them with hatred? It not only shatters them but also destroys their progress. They have a heart and mind of their own. They should be given the freedom of living and moving with their kind of people.”

It is the first time that we see an Indian actress stand up for the cause of Gay Rights which is still considered a taboo for some image conscious actresses. On being asked why Celina took such a bold step.

“Actually I have some good friends who are Gays. I now have known them for so long. They too are sincere and hard working lot. They are like any other homo sapiens. The instinct that attracts them to the same sex is an inborn quality. This instinct separates them from us. But if one goes into the depth of this fact you realize, this attraction is not under their control, then why disallow the gays to live with a person of their choice,” she adds.

Hope Celina’s presence helps Gays a bit!

Celina Jaitley won't forget her birthday

Celina Jaitley plays one of the female leads in Ganesh Acharya’s Money Hai To Honey Hai co-starring Govinda, Aftab Shivdasani, Manoj Bajpai, Upen Patel, Hansika Motwani and Ravi Kishen.

With a huge set of stars coming together that too for a film that has been shot mostly abroad, pranks on one another is a common thing. But for MHTHH, the most likely prank victim was always Celina. She told us, "Working in the film was an experience of a life time for me as I had such wonderful co-stars who have their own distinct style of acting.

I made a lot of friends on sets. I was often the victim of their pranks. But there is one incident that I shall never ever forget. It was my birthday while we were shooting for the film.I never felt so sad on any of my birthdays because on this particular birthday no one wished me from the morning to the evening. It would have been silly on my part to remind anyone about it."

"I kept sulking the whole day and by evening I was in a total morose state. But in the evening, I was in for a big surprise. Everyone suddenly stopped shooting and I could hear a band being played. A huge five feet cake for me was brought in as well.Everyone on the sets, all the actors, our director Ganesh Acharya and producer Kumar Mangat sang the birthday song for me. It was such a wonderful experience. I am going to cherish it for a real long time!" she concludes.
