Rakhi Sawant open talks about Mallika Sherawat!

Rakhi Sawant, the controversial publicity seeker, item girl of Bollywood is back in new for her press meet delay and her open talks.

Rakhi Sawant who is doing a new show Gajab Desh Ki Ajab Kahaaniyaan in NDTV Imagine was earlier in news for her statements of wanting to marry Rahul Gandhi, then Ram Dev Baba, and later for demanding to wear C String Panties n her new show, which is said to be inspired from Kim Kardashian.

Now again she is in news for having created trouble by delaying the press meet organized for the show. IN the press meet she not only accused Mallika Sherawat for being a chor (thief) for stealing her item numbers, which were initially offered to her but also made some nasty comments about the Mallika.

Rakhi Sawant who is said to have lost 12-15 kilos for her latest show, was reported t have said, “ Usko abroad se ab phenk diya hai woh Jackie Chan Whacky Chan ne” (She said that Mallika been thrown out from abroad by that Jackie Chan or whatever he is.)

Rakhi added that “Malika's greedy to eat my business as all the item numbers that she is doing were offered to me but usne kam paise charge karke mera kaam cheen liya. (Mallika charged less money to get my offers)

Amongst all this, we hear that Rakhi had made the press people wait for two hours. When the ess decied to walk out we hearthat Rakhi who tried to pacify the angry press people has aplogized and reason her delay saying, “I don't want to cry here, but you won't believe that this press conference got delayed because my sari got stolen. Mere saath yeh tragedy ho gayi. (this tragedy happened with me).You might think this is a publicity gimmick, but trust me, this is what has happened.”

Rakhi Sawant ready for another ‘Swayamvar’

Rakhi Sawant is desperate and, given a chance, she can have another swayamvar. The lady recently revealed this to a daily.

Love or marriage, the lady is hopeful to get her man of dreams after she dumped Elesh Parujanwala, whom she selected from her swayamvar. He is not the kind with whom she would love to spend her life. “Elesh was not honest. He was bankrupt and loved going to nightclubs. He told me all this after our engagement. I am not the type to accept it,” Rakhi is quoted as saying.

 

In fact, according to Rakhi, Elesh’s family never considered her as a bahu and they never bothered to call her during the days she was seeing Elesh, nor did they give her “shagun”.

 

In fact, she is happy with her decision to break up with Elesh. According to her, “Wahan pe saare kangle the (All of them were broke there).”

 

So after all this, Rakhi has made her mind. “If I get another chance I will have another swayamvar.” And this time it will be her family who will help her to take the ‘right decision’.

Of late, Rakhi has also started attending church services. But still she has to confirm whether she will read from the holy scriptures on the Christmas day or not?

Rakhi Sawant plays as mediator

Elesh Parujanwala is known for his calm and composed attitude where as Rakhi is recognized for her hot temper. But this time things seem to turn upside down with the entry of the adults in Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Saakshi Bhayana from the fame of Splitsvilla will be entering as the daughter of Elesh and Rakhi in the show. “Her entry is going to be dhamakedar in the show as the janta will see her throwing her weight around in front of Rakhi,” utters our khabroo.

“Saakshi just entered the house and messed up everything from kitchen to the bedroom. She threw all the clothes of Rakhi from the wardrobe and just pushes her stuffs inside. This does irritate the drama queen but she takes it very calmingly where as Elesh could not handle the situation. He just ordered Saakshi to get out of the house,” adds the source.

Rakhi was cool and trying to solve problems between Elesh and Saaskhi. “Rakhi was playing the mediator between the two and at the end she was successful too. Finally she stopped Saaskshi from leaving the house and also made Elesh understood about their responsibilities,” concludes the source.

There is lot more in the coming week as these jodi gears up to fight with their toughest phase of the journey in the show. Let’s see who comes out with flying colours.

India's first televised swayamvar concluded in Mumbai on late Sunday with item girl Rakhi Sawant choosing Toronto-based Elesh Parujanwala as her life partner in a unique reality TV show.

In Rakhi ka Swayamvar, Rakhi made the final choice from the three finalists - from the original list of 16 contestants in 26 episodes. The other two finalists were young aspirant Manas Katyal and businessman Chhitiz Jain, both from New Delhi.

"I have been watching Elesh from day one. On and off the camera, he has been the same and has really taken care of me. He is everything I was looking for and I am glad to have found him on the Swayamvar. The swayamvar means finding a life partner and I have found Elesh.

"Today is our engagement. I am ready to get married now, but we need to understand each other better off camera. We will soon get married in front of all of you in keeping with all our traditions," Rakhi said after announcing her choice to a waiting audience across the country.

Decked up in red and gold lehenga-choli by Neeta Lulla and kundan jewellery, Rakhi looked a perfect bride.

Who will win Rakhi's hand?

Elesh, Manas and Chhitiz too were dressed for the occasion - in traditional sherwanis and turbans.

In the dramatic finale, she garlanded Elesh - as the audience clapped on.

The colourful event, held at the Hotel Leela Kampinsky in Mumbai on Sunday, saw a host of celebrities like choreographer Saroj Khan, actors Ravi Kishen and Ram Kapoor, who posed as brothers to the bride, apart from others like Smita Bansal and Sudha Shivpuri in the audience.

Rakhi to wear 1 crore jewellery at engagement!

Just when we thought that Rakhi Sawant's show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar was nothing but a fake reality show and that she wouldn't tie the knot with anyone, came the news that the actress will be getting engaged to one of the contestants on August 2 at The Leela Kempinski hotel in Andheri, Mumbai.

But the meatier gossip is that Rakhi will be donning wedding jewellery worth Rs 1 crore! Her diamond studded necklace will itself cost Rs 50 lakh. The jewellery will be designed by Farah Ali Khan, while Neeta Lulla will design Rakhi's bridal trousseau.

And oh, NDTV Imagine the channel will be sweet enough to play the maikawallahs. All are invited!

On last Saturday a popular news channel, News 24 did a sting operation on NDTV Imagine’s reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar. With hidden cameras they met two booted out contestants from the show who candidly revealed all the embarrassing facts regarding the show. One contestant from Kashmir who is a Police constable by profession even revealed that the makers knew he was married and had three kids yet they made him participate on the show.

But if our sources are to be trusted then there are more shocking facts lined up ahead. Our source claims, “Rakhi Sawant is not going to get married to any of the contestants. The whole thing is a sham. Rakhi is no fool to get married to a reality show contestant. One can recollect her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi has been a reality show contestant as well. He was a product of Zee’s Cinestars Ki Khoj. She has time and again spoken about her bad experience about getting in a relationship with a nobody like him who used her for financial benefits.”

He further reveals, “When the show reaches its grand finale time and Rakhi finally gets down to making her final choice amongst the last remaining contestants, the makers of the show will be giving the contestants an option of either choosing big money or Rakhi. The guys will opt for the money bag over Rakhi.”

“This will be revealed to Rakhi and the drama queen that she is will throw a fit and express her disappointment and disqualify them. So finally that’s how she will still remain unmarried on the show. If the TRPs go on to increase till the show finale, then a season 2 cannot be ruled out.” concludes our source.

Another source reveals, “Such a show was originally being planned with Bobby Darling but that was for another TV Channel. The makers however chickened out at the last minute to go ahead getting worried about the backlash.”

We then wonder why all this tamasha of getting in celebrities on each episode and making the contestants perform silly tasks. Then you also have special time dedicated to Rakhi venting out all her vent up frustrations about her personal life. Sorry boss it is not entertainment. But well like a senior actor reveals, “In TV nowadays there is only one mantra – ‘TRPs ke liye kuch bhi karega and after all Rakhi too is benefiting from the show by not just the means of good money but also so much screen time dedicated to her dressed in the best of the costumes.”

Farah Ali Khan showed Rakhi various intricate stone studded designs that she should wear for her big day. From Diamonds to Kundans to Emerald and Rubies, Rakhi got a chance to try on necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. Farah not only suggested what outfits she should wear them on, but also gave her suggestions on maintaining her jewellery.

Rakhi to wear Rs.3 mn necklace on D-day

Rakhi Sawant surely couldn't have asked for more. A Rs.30 lakh (Rs. 3 million) necklace designed by Farah Ali Khan, a lehenga-choli wedding dress by celebrity designer Neeta Lulla, a 'swayamvar' on national television and a grand wedding to be watched by millions across the country.

The former 'item girl', who has had a rags-to-riches career, will marry on NDTV Imagine's reality show "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar" soon. She will choose her "perfect man" from among nine grooms who have come from cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Rishikesh, Jaipur and Kanpur and even from places as far off as Toronto.

National award winning designer Neeta Lulla, who is one of Aishwarya Rai's favourite designers, and ace jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali have been roped in to help Rakhi look her best on her D-day. And the two are doing every bit they can to fulfil the bride-to-be's wish to look like a "princess" that special day.

"Rakhi told us she wants to look like a princess that day - something like she has never looked before. I have given her a very colourful ensemble - it's a very conservative outfit," Lulla told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

"For her wedding day, Rakhi would be wearing a lehenga-choli in five different colours with ornate kundan work to give her an ethnic Rajasthani look," said Lulla, who has designed Aishwarya's clothes in movies like "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Devdas" and more recently "Jodhaa Akbar".

To complement her outfit, Rakhi will be donning traditional Indian jadau jewellery designed by Farah Ali Khan, the daughter of yesteryears actor Sanjay Khan and well-known interior designer Zarine Khan.

"The choker that Rakhi will be wearing for her wedding day is very heavy. It looks very traditional and covers almost her entire neck," she said.

Sambhavna Seth has made no bones about not liking item queen Rakhi Sawant not very long ago.

She had made her displeasure clear about the ’Big Boss 1’ inmate and competitor during her stint at the ’Big Boss 2’ house. This, in spite of the fact that many especially her arch rival on ’Bigg Boss’, Payal Rohatgi feeling that she was actually trying to mimic Rakhi on the show and be outgoing and a motor mouth like her.

Sambhavna who’s currently participating in the reality show ’Dancing Queen’ however tries to paint another picture altogether.

The show aired on Colors pairs 10 dancing divas with a protégé each. It’s being judged by veteran actors Hema Malini and Jeetendra.

Sambhavna has said, ’If Rakhi joins ’Dancing Queen’, she is not going to do any wonders. I have seen what she can do and I don’t want to see any further wonders from her.’

She’s added, ’I don’t miss her on the show at all. Rakhi is quite senior in our league. She has done various reality shows and she has also become a judge. For her, its like, ’been there done that’. There is no sense in her coming to ’Dancing Queen’ because she has reached a senior level. And even if she comes, there is no issue, but I am not at all missing her.’

She’s also said, ’Rakhi has shown whatever she could have. Now it’s her chance to see what I do. I am just starting and all I need is good wishes from her. She is of my elder sister’s age.

I agree she has maintained herself well but age-wise and experience-wise she is older and she should be left at that level. I am only missing her blessings on the show and she should give me just that.’

During the finale of the ’Nach Baliye 3’, last year, when Salman was the chief guest, Rakhi had walked away from the sets in a huff. Rakhi had lost to Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali in the show and stormed off the stage with her beau Abhishek Awasthi in tow. Even though Salman followed her to pacify her, she snubbed him and drove off in her car.


Salman was apparently miffed with her after that. But considering that she was invited to his show, Salman seems to have forgiven the controversy queen.
