The Assassination of Elizabeth Hasselback
The View had it's usual fun times today. Topic of discussion? The mindless killing of wolves by Sarah Palin. Of course there are no two sides of this story. And should minority conservative girl on the show Elizabeth Hasselback attempt to form a second side to the story... be sure to GO TO COMMERCIAL! Check it out!
The best part is that while no other panelist on the view could stomach the killing of innocent wolves in order to save the caribou population, non had a problem with the innocent killing of cows for steak or for hamburger. Hasselback uses a similar argument of where are the Hollywood elite celebrities standing up for aborted babies? Which if you think about it, transcends animals to humans, a more serious stand.
Yet when Hasselback spoke up, she was belittled by the fellow talking heads and promptly went to commercial. What do you think? Do we save the wolves or save the caribou? Is Hasselback out of line or does she make a good point? x
Sigourney Weaver Performs Live Basic Instinct Show

There is nothing like a bunch of women sitting around gossiping. But often it's not what they say but what they do that is more interesting. If you missed The View on ABC today you did yourself a favor. You will sleep well tonight.
You'd hope a woman of 59 would have the whole 'class' thing down by now but Sigourney Weaver's upskirt flash on live TV startled everyone who had their eyes open. I may have nightmares just thinking about it. I'm certain this is the View's plan in attempting to force men not to tune in during the day.
The incident occurred when Sigourney went for a couch hug with Joy Behar the show's resident angry woman - outlasting Rosie O'Donnell in the shows dual angry woman phase. So offering Joy a little love made perfect sense as angry women need love too. It seems that Sigourney wanted to make the most of the moment.
I'll try not to close my eyes tonight when I sleep. Unfortunately now you may have a hard time sleeping tonight too.
PCM's 'DiD U KnOw?" Moment

I'm personally not a fan of those crazy women on The View. None of them can ever get a word in as they try to scream over each other! However today, we learned some things from Gossip Girl Ed Westwick and Chase Crawford's appearance on the daytime talkshow!
So here it is, PCM's "DiD U KnOw?" moment! *Drumroll* Did you know that actor Ed Westwick is British and his American accent on the show is fake? He does it so well, we thought he was an American actor all along! PLUS, did you know that Westwick and his co-star Chase Crawford are actually roommates in real life? Well, now you know!
Did you catch last night's episode of Gossip Girl on the CW? We'll never look at Westwick and his accent the same, he does such a great job hiding the British lingo!
Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman: Reunited, and it Feels So Funny
They are, they aren't. They are, they aren't.
If you believe People magazine -- one of the more reputable celeb rags out there -- talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and funny lady Sarah Silverman are, indeed, back together. The couple, who split in July after 5 years together, have decided -- according to that ever-reputable anonymous "friend" quoted in the magazine -- to give their relationship another chance.
Recently, the couple have been spotted together, which had many wondering if the Silverman and Kimmel were dating again. On Friday, the duo appeared to be more than just friends while attending Howard Stern's wedding in New York City. Kimmel was spotted wrapping his arms around Silverman's waist and playfully grabbing her backside.
On Tuesday's 'View,' Barbara Walters grilled Silverman for a relationship update, but she would not confirm if she and Kimmel had reunited.
"I do not feel beholden or compelled to define my personal relationship... It's not like a big drama thing, we're just not defining it," Silverman said.
Sherri Shepherd's Confessions
'The View' host Sherri Shepherd covers the latest issue of 'Precious Times' magazine. Seriously, the women on the View just get crazier and crazier. This is a really revealing look into the life of Sheperd. In an eight-page feature story in the Christian women's lifestyle publication, the 41-year-old comedienne shares candid revelations about her faith, including her conversion from being a Jehovah's Witness to Christianity.
"Before I converted to Christianity, I was a Jehovah's Witness. In 1993, my mother was dying from diabetic complications. My sister was heavy into drugs, and we would have to go and get her from crack houses. I was in a very physically abusive relationship. I was sleeping with a lot of guys and had more abortions than I would like to count. I had very low self-esteem and just wanted to die. I felt if someone killed me, it wouldn't even make a difference. But God showed me that it would make a difference," she told the publication.
Geez, this is really deep stuff! Who knew that this was the past life of the current host?
More Tears On The View...
After Rev. Jesse Jackson was caught using the "N" word, The View talked about under what circumstances the "N" word can be used appropriately. Can white people use it? Can black people use it? Elizabeth Hasselbeck broke down in tears during this discussion on the morning talk show. Take a look at the heated debate. It gets crazy!

Britney in treatment?

On The View this morning, Barbara Walters said she received a call from Britney Spears' manager and pal Sam Lutfi.
"She has been to a psychiatrist," Walters said she learned from Lutfi. "She, I assume, is starting some kind of treatment."Walters also said Spears is reportedly back in touch with her mother, although she is still suffering from "mood swings" and trouble sleeping.
When the other hosts on The View questioned Lutfi's report, Walters replied, "I don't know if anybody is telling the truth or not telling the truth." She added, "He has been with her constantly. He seems to be enormously supportive."

Sherri Shepherd joins The View

In what Barbara Walters called "the worst-kept secret" on television, Sherri Shepherd joined The View for its 11th season. The 40-year-old actress and comedian was a guest host on the show on many occasions, particularly after auditioning for the seat Star Jones left vacant in 2006.
"I'm so excited," Shepherd said after making her entrance to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons' "Sherry" on Monday. "Oh, my God. I'm actually one of the girls. I'm here. And it's all good. I'm with all the ladies."
