Octo-Mommy's TV Debut!

For the first time in my life, I'm speechless.

Nadya Suleman (or Angelina Jolie? You be the judge...) sat down with Ann Curry yesterday. The entire interview will air on Monday morning and Tuesday night on NBC. NBC claims they didn't pay her for the interview (LIARS!) even though there were rumors that Nadya was trying to get $2 million a pop.

On not being able to afford her ten million kids:
“I know I'll be able to afford them when I'm done with my schooling. If I was just sitting down watching TV and not being as determined as I am to succeed and provide a better future for my children, I believe that would be considered, to a certain degree, selfish.”

On why she is the greatest mama in the universe:
“Everything I do, I'll stop my life for them and be present with them. And hold them. And be with them. And how many parents do that? I'm sure there are many that do, but many don't. And that's unfortunate. That is selfish.”

On why she risked carrying 6 embryos instead of just 1 or 2:
“Those are my children, and that’s what was available. It’s a gamble.”

On why she wants an army of babies:
"That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up."

On what she lacked growing up (besides, obviously, a brain):
"I didn't feel as though, when I was a child, I had much control of my environment. I felt powerless. And that gave me a sense of predictability. Reflecting back on my childhood, I know it wasn't functional. It was pretty dysfunctional, and whose isn't?”

She should be sitting down with a team of psychiatric professionals, not with Ann Curry.

Teen Pregnancy Pact

A new article in TIME magazine revealed an epidemic of teen pregnancy at Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Mass. Reporter Kathleen Kingsbury discovered that out of the 17 girls who became pregnant this year, half were sophomores who made a pact to get pregnant and raise their children together.

The 15- and 16-year-old girls were primarily impregnated by their boyfriends; however, in one instance a 24-year-old homeless man was identified as the father.

The Today Show examined the story this morning and spoke with Kingsbery and 18-year-old Gloucester teen mom Christen Callahan, among others. "You lose everything," Callahan told Today host Meredith Vieira.

Billy Ray on Miley's Vanity Fair shoot, again

Billy Ray Cyrus was on The Today Show this morning, and again he spoke up about daughter Miley's controversial Vanity Fair cover shoot. Just last week the country singer likened famed photographer Annie Liebovitz, who snapped the pictures for the magazine, to a paparazzo.

Cyrus made his first televised comments about the photo shoot, although the purpose of his Today Show appearance was to promote NBC's Nashville Star. Cyrus told show anchor Meredith Vieira that was not on the set at the time.

"I didn't know they were going to strip her down and wrap her in a blanket," Cyrus said. "I was surprised when I saw [the photo] ... but, hey, that's life. Stuff happens."

Cyrus said he could not prevent the shoot and did not think to complain.

"I didn't have any choice," he said. "I had a show to do, and an obligation, to go to Washington state ... playing for the troops just back from Iraq."

Miley Cyrus later apologized for the photo, where she appeared draped in a sheet on the cover of the magazine. But some people were also disturbed by a picture inside the magazine, showing Miley and her dad in a perhaps amorous pose.

"That's just a daddy who loves his daughter a whole lot," he said.

Chris Brown hands out some dance tips

R&B star Chris Brown was on The Today Show this morning where he performed "Kiss Kiss" and talked about his love life, Rihanna and his acting.

Check out this funny video of Brown teaching NBC's David Gregory how to bust a move.

Jack Black explains his Brangie twin confirmation

Jack Black spoke to Ann Curry of The Today Show Wednesday about his upcoming film with Angelina Jolie, Kung Fu Panda.

The comedian and new dad also explained who was behind his confirmation that Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting twins.

"It's my wife's fault," Black said. "Tanya told me like it was common knowledge, because she's a triplet and she's interested in that. So I filed it away for something to talk about later if I met Angelina."

Black made the public revelation May 15 when Black and Jolie spoke to Today's Natalie Morales during the Cannes Film Festival. Black said he was unaware that the news was not public knowledge when he "spilled the beans."

"Whoops," Black told Curry.

He said: "There we were on [The Today Show], and I said, ‘Ah! So, it's going to be like 'The Brady Bunch' with your twins that are coming.' And then she's like, 'Uh... oh... I wasn't going to say that.' And then I was like the bean spiller."

Black also told Curry that Jolie was actually relieved he confirmed the off-rumored double baby bundle.

"She wanted to spill the beans and didn’t know how to, and I did it for her."

Twins for Brangelina

Angelina Jolie has confirmed that she and partner Brad Pitt are expecting twins.

According to Acccess Hollywood, the news slipped during an interview on The Today Show with Natalie Morales while at the Cannes Film Festival. Jolie and co-star Jack Black were on hand to promote their animated movie Kung Fu Panda.

"You're gonna have as many as [the] Brady Bunch when you have these," Black said, prompting Morales to ask if Jolie was having twins, as had been speculated for awhile.

"Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already," Jolie said. "Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually."

Jolie and Pitt already have two sons and two daughters. Jolie refused to reveal the genders of the twins, though. "We would like to keep that private," she said.

New Kids on the Block Reunion

All of the original members of the boy band sensation of early 90’s will be in attendance including: Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, and brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight

Their reunion will coincide with the 20th year anniversary of their first ultra-successful album Hangin' Tough which was released in 1988.
