Jordin Sparks Defends Jonas Brothers

VMA host Russell Brand raved for about two minutes too long about virginity, knocking the Jonas Brother for not using their popularity to score with the ladies as well as the promise rings they were. Well Jordin Sparks came to their defense stating that "I just want to say, it's not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everyone, guy or girl, wants to be a slut." Sparks also wears a promise ring to show that she to is waiting until marriage.

Katy Perry also responded to Brand's comments by changing the lyrics in her performance to "Like A Virgin" saying "Like a Jonas, with your promise ring next to mine".

Tokio Hotel Best New Artist

Congrats are in order...
This year's Best New Artist VMA goes to Tokio Hotel! This time around the voting for Best New Artist for was figured differently, YOU had the chance to vote between artists like Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks, Tokio Hotel, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift. Britney Cleans Up at VMAs

Britney Spears made quite a come back last night on the MTV Video Music Awards. Spears took home three moon men, including the night's top honor of video of the year, for her hit Piece of Me. Spears also opened the show with a funny skit with Jonah Hill, and though their was speculation of a performance, the only time she took the stage was to accept her awards. And she looked fabulous doing it.

We are thrilled that Britney is making a comeback and can't wait to see what will happen in the future.

Kanye and Christina Take the Stage

We're down to the final hours before MTV's star studded Video Music Awards begins and we can't wait! The final performances have been released and it's sure to be a fabulous show. Kanye West and Christina Aguilera are the latest to be added. Christina will perform her first single "Genie in a Bottle" to help celebrate MTVs 25th VMA anniversary. And it is said that Kanye will close the show. The hilarious Russell Brand will be the host and is promising quite the show!
