The month of February has started and with it has begun the active promotion of My Name Is Khan. The movie is releasing on 12th of this month and Shahrukh Khan and Kajol are in New York promoting the film. The stars became the first Indian cine stars to ring the opening bell of New York stock exchange, NASDAQ.
As reported, the star Jodi of MNIK was invited there by the Fox Searchlight Pictures, who are distributing the film in the US, to open trading at the world’s biggest stock exchange by ringing the bell. 
Later, while addressing the New Yorkers, Khan and Kajol talked about the film. If Shahrukh was dressed in black for the event, Kajol looked alluring as ever in a red coloured salwar suit designed by Manish Malhotra. SRK also clarified that the movie is not related to his detention at Newark Airport last year: “The film has nothing to do with it. It is a love story...and what people can do to achieve their love.”
Shahrukh even tweeted about this, “Nasdaq will be fun. Have to make sure I reach on time, otherwise will end up being blamed for economic upheaval across the world too..ha ha.”
