DMX Does It Again

Rapper DMX is now on "lockdown" in Arizona's Tent City Jail after threatening to fight the guards. His latest move in his nearly year-long downward spiral of self destruction proves that he is in fact one of the dumbest people alive.

The former rapper has been on a path of self-destruction since the summer. X was arrested six times over the month of June for various offenses. He was again arrested for missing his hearing. When he finally did make it to court, X cussed out the judge and attempted to walk out of the courthouse while still shackled.

After the rapper failed to report for his medication, officials say the incarcerated rapper began cussing at officers and stated he would "assault someone to get some respect."

He was immediately placed on "lockdown" and is being punished with a "special diet that is a form of bread and water."

For those who do not know, punishment by bread and water was not created to deprive the incarcerated of food with character, but rather that a diet consisting only of bread and water leads to intense intestinal discomfort because it causes severe constipation.

It all started when he refused to report for work, telling officers, "I already have a job and don't need this $*!@."

Good job DMX. The Darwin Awards saving a spot for you because at this rate there is no doubt that you will cause your own destruction by the end of the year.

DMX Not Interested in Self-Preservation

DMX has been arrested nine times in the past four months. For most that would be bad, but after his court appearance in Miami the former rough rider is out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The rapper decided it was a bright idea to drop the F-bomb after the judge denied his bond and set his next court date for October 3.

"I ain't coming back on f***ing October 3," DMX said, and then walked away. From the looks of those shackles, it seems he doesn't have a choice.

DMX Is Setting Some Sort of Record

In an attempt to show up record breaking athlete Michael Phelps, DMX is setting his own world record - for most arrests.

The rapper was arrested yet again in Miami on Thursday. The icing on the cake is that his arrest was for skipping court in Arizona related to his pending animal-cruelty and drug-possession case.

Photos show DMX being picked up outside a Wal-Mart.

The rapper's lawyer provided evidence on Tuesday that DMX could not appear in Arizona because he was in the hospital. The judge opted to issue a bench warrant and raise his bond to $25,000.

What the rapper was in the hospital for remains a mystery, but given DMX's record I smell another arrest in the near future.

DMX Arrested... Yet Again

These days rapper DMX doesn't need a publicist. As long as he maintains his weekly arrest record, he's sure to stay on the radar. Well he's at it again and this time it's for a diagnose and dash.

The rapper was arrested at a Phoenix mall on Sunday on felony charges of identity theft, when he allegedly gave a false name and Social Security number to avoid paying a $7,500 hospital bill in April.

Police say DMX, real name Earl Simmons, checked into a hospital in April using the name "Troy Jones." He was arrested outside Phoenix's Metrocenter mall while hanging out with a group of friends.

Police, who have been investigating the charges for months, say they ran the rapper's real name, found the warrant and arrested him on the spot.

This is the rappers fifth arrest in the past three months. A bond has yet to be set.

Rapper DMX arrested

Rapper DMX, 37, was arrested Friday on drug and animal cruelty charges, Arizona sheriff's deputies said.

The artist, whose real name is Earl Simmons, attempted to avoid arrest by barricading himself inside his Cave Creek, Ariz. home. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, he faces four felony drug possession charges and seven misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.

A news release from the sheriff's office also said deputies were serving search warrants at the Scottsdale, Ariz. Mayo Clinic due to the belief the rapper was involved in fraud there.

The deputies reported that five pit bull mix puppies were seized from the rapper's home by an animal control unit. They will be taken to a jail and cared for by female inmates.

This is not the first time DMX was suspected of animal cruelty. In August, deputies responding to abuse reports raided his home and seized 12 dogs. Although no evidence of dogfighting was found, some of the dogs had not been fed or watered.

In addition, the sheriff's office found three dog carcasses on the property, one of which looked like it had been burned.

"A guy like this DMX character, with all his money and fame, has no excuse for not providing proper care for his animals," Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Friday.

The drug possession charges came after deputies served the search warrant at 3 a.m. Friday, finding drugs and weapons.

County Attorney Andrew Thomas said the case would be treated like any other alleged animal cruelty, despite DMX's celebrity status.

DMX has a history of legal problems. According to CNN affiliate KPHO, he was arrested on Wednesday for racing on a highway after speed cameras caught him driving 114 mph on a Phoenix-area freeway. The rapper was booked on charges of racing on a highway, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, two counts of endangerment and three counts of criminal speed.

In 1999, an animal cruelty charge was dismissed against the rapper after he accepted responsibility and recorded public service announcements for an animal rights group, CNN reported.

The raid in August came within the same week as former NFL football player Michael Vick pleaded guilty to bankrolling and running a Virginia dogfighting ring.

At the time, the rapper's lawyer said he had been on tour and arranged for a caretaker for his dogs. The lawyer alleged that while the caretaker fed and watered the dogs, he did not protect them from Arizona's summer heat. He also said DMX was upset about the treatment of his dogs, who have been featured in his music videos.
