Kangna reveals her relationship with Gerard Butler

Kangana Ranaut has got into a controversy for her relationship with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler. It all started when Gerard Butler paid a surprise visit to the shooting spot of Kangana Ranaut's movie in New York. Earlier Gerard Butler was known for his friendly tie up with Priyanka Chopra and Udita Goswami.

This incident has raised the raised the guess works around Kangana's relationship, but the actress has straightly said a no all such rumors and confirmed that Gerard Butler was just a friend of her. In a interaction with media Kangana was quoted saying, “Yes, it’s true, Gerard is a friend. He dropped in on the sets to meet me when I was shooting in New York. But that’s all there was.”

It is said that Kangana and Gerard had met each other during a party which was hosted by Priyanka Chopra. But close sources reveal that Kangana and Gerard had no time to mingle personally excpet a few formal Hai and Bye as there were many other celebrities present at the party.

Kangana Ranaut turns 23

It is going to be a working birthday for actor Kangana Ranaut. The actor, who turns 23 today, will not even be in Mumbai to spend the day with her close friends as the sets of the film are in Karjat.

She will be spending the whole day on the sets of Farhan Akhtar’s movie Crooked that also stars Abhishek Bachchan.

 

She has been getting birthday wishes from March 20 itself as a website has wrongly mentioned it. She had also been receiving lots of wishes from radio stations in Dubai which are dedicating songs to her.”

Kangana Ranaut charges 5 crores

Kangana Ranaut has made her mark in Bollywood with her commendable performances in critically acclaimed film like ‘Gangster’ and ‘Woh Lamhe’ and after winning a National Award for her performance in ‘Fashion’, there has been no stopping for the girl.

Grapevines have it that the makers of her forthcoming film have agreed to pay her 5 crores for her forthcoming film. The flick is to be directed by Tanvir Khan, who last directed Deadline. It sure can be said that now the directors have realized her potential and have no qualms in giving her the fee she deserves.”

 

However, Kangana, on her part, said, “I can’t discuss my fee.”

Kangana Ranaut, Dino Morea caught kissing?

 
Call it the Valentine effect or just the bonhomie between two colleagues. Kangana Ranaut and Dino Morea got along like a house on fire at the second wedding anniversary of actor Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata on Friday.

 

 

 

A tabloid has splashed images of Dino and Kangana getting intimate with each other. In the snaps, the duo is shown kissing each other, but whether it was a full-blown smooch or just a peck on the cheek isn’t visibly clear. However, what’s apparent is that even if it was just a peck, it must have been a smacker.

 

The report says Dino and Kangana bonded well during the party which was attended by many other celebs including Shilpa Shetty, Sunil Shetty and Fardeen Khan. The twosome chatted animatedly throughout the course of the party and shared many a laugh.

 

And when it was time to leave, Dino hugged Kangana and planted a kiss. Going by the reaction of Kangana in the snap, there’s more to the kiss than just a goodbye peck.

Bipasha Basu wants to play a junkie!

After much deliberation, Rohan Sippy has zeroed down on the actress he wants to play a junkie in the film ‘Dum Maro Dum’. Contrary to the rumours, it’s not Kangana Ranaut but Bipasha Basu.

 

According to Rohan, Bipasha has the pizzazz and oomph to carry off the role of a junkie in Goa. And though the movie’s title reminds one of the song ‘Dum Maro Dum’ from Dev Anand’s movie ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’, Sippy says the similarities end there only. He also clarifies that Bipasha’s character is not modelled on that of Zeenat Aman who played a junkie in the 1971 film.

 

Set to hit the floors in two weeks, ‘Dum Maro Dum’ will have Bipasha pairing with Telugu star Rana Daggubati. Abhishek Bachchan plays the lead role and the supporting cast comprises of Pratik and Aditya Pancholi.

 

Kangana Ranaut apparently did not sign the film because she didn’t want to work with her ex boyfriend Aditya Pancholi.

Kangana Ranaut seems to be happy

Kangana Ranaut seems to be on seventh heaven as she wins the National award for best supporting actress in Fashion at the 56th National awards announced on Saturday.

 

An elated Kangana said, “There’s a mini-celebration in my house, though my parents were crying when they heard about it. At 23 I seem to have cracked the highest cultural award for the country. What more can I do? I should just pack up and go back to my home in Himachal now with my parents.”

 

Not only her parents, but her fans too are overjoyed at her achievement. In fact, a Delhi-based fan of hers, Sameer, sent her a huge gift hamper to congratulate her for her National Award win. The hamper contained three boxes – one that had 22 wine bottles, one with 22 cakes of different types and sizes, and one with 22 accessories like earrings, bangles, bracelets, etc.

 

Attached to the gift hamper was a note from the fan which read, “22 because you are 22-year-old and a National Award is no mean achievement at such a young age.”

Sushmita-Kangana shake like Shakira

Sushmita Sen and Kangana Ranaut were game to shake their booty, that too like Shakira, for Anees Bazmee’s next No Problem.

The song, Shakira Jaisi Hile Lakhni is a hip-hop Punjabi track, and Pritam is quite a pro in composing these kind of masti numbers. And we all know how well the slim and fit Sushmita can groove to such foot-tapping tracks. Surprisingly, Kangana, who hardly dances for any song in her films, was also in full mood to do some jhatkas-matkas.

 

The song, an expensive number, was shot recently in Filmistan studio. In it, both Sushmita and Kangana will be seen draped in sexy sarees. If Sush chose a Rs 4 lakh Abu Jani creation, Kangs was happy to get a Suneet Verma saree worth Rs 3.5 lakhs.

 

The song is a star-studded affair and the entire cast from Anil Kapoor to Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor are there in it.

Genelia D’Souza had shot for Ghajini

If there is one actress who must be feeling really frustrated looking at the stupendous success of Ghajini is Genelia D’Souza. Many must be aware that Kangana Ranaut and Ayesha Takia were being considered for a role in Ghajini but that was for the role which eventually went to Jiah Khan.

Sources inform, “The makers had zeroed down on Asin but her dates were getting to be a big problem. Finally as no word came from Asin, Genelia was brought in. Genelia too infact shot for 3-4 days with Aamir. But during that time Aamir started getting this feeling that audience would somehow not accept their jodi as she would be appearing with his nephew Imran Khan in his debut venture Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Just then the makers got a word from Asin that her dates issue had been sorted out. Immediately then, Genelia was replaced by Asin and as they say rest is history”

Kangana & Adhyayan - Romance in the vanity van?

It was too much for Emraan Hashmi and he stormed out of the sets of ‘Raaz 2’ when he was kept waiting on the sets while Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman were locked in their vanity van. The duo had been there for about two hours despite the fact that they were required for the shoot. Initially, Emraan waited patiently for them. Director Mohit Suri also sent some production guys to knock on the vanity van’s door to remind them of the shoot. But when the wait stretched for over two hours, Emraan was fuming and unstoppable. He abandoned the sets leaving the shoot in a huff.
