Robert Pattinson Confirms all Rumors on Today Show

This morning on the Today Show Matt Lauer asked Twilight star Robert Pattinson about all of the rumors that have been circulating about him and Pattinson jokingly confirmed them all. Lauer asked Pattinson about dating, being engaged, and even drugs.

"You've been dating nonstop," Lauer asked.

"Literally nonstop, yes," Pattinson said.

"You're dating a costar whose name rhymes with Tristan Belwart," Lauer said.

"Tristan Blewart ... there was a Liston Hewitt last year," Pattinson said. "That would be true, yes."

Pattinson also addressed the pressures of his sudden fame. "I speak in an American accent when I speak to the crowd," he said. "I feel like it's acting. I mean, I think it's the only way I don't go completely mad."

Johnny Depp Named Sexiest Man Alive

Johnny Depp has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive for the second time. He is the third man to receive this honor, along with Brad Pitt and George Clooney. A spokesperson for People Magazine stated, "At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15 year-old-boots and as smoldering as his favorite Cuban cigars. He has had women swooning since his days as a teen detective on '21 Jump Street'."

Reports circulated earlier this week that Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson was taking the Sexiest Man crown this year. However, Depp's sexiness reigns supreme.

Hugh Jackman, last year's recipient of this prestigious honor, is elated that the "pressure's off" of him now. He says, "I can be a slob again."

Also featured on 2009's Sexiest Men list include: Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, David Beckham, Bradley Cooper, Gilles Marini, Nick Cannon, Chris Daughtry, and Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Pattinson is "annoyed" by The Parts He is Offered

Robert Pattinson who is known for playing vampire Edward Cullen in 'Twilight' - claims that the roles he is offered rarely challenge his acting abilities.

“Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do," Robert complained. "Acting is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life."

"I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker."

Robert is somewhat overwhelmed by his new found fame because he thought the film adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's vampire drama would be "something really small."

"It’s strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn’t even buy them in London," Robert told AnOther Man magazine. "Hardly anyone I knew had read them."

"I had no idea at all. I’d seen my co-star Kristen Stewart in 'Into the Wild' and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke’s other films, and that’s all I thought it was, something really small.”

Robert Pattinson Claims He's Still Single

Listen up Twilighters, pretty much all summer we have been hearing that the hottest vampire out there, Robert Pattinsion is dating co-star, Kristen Stewart. By the looks of the cozy snap shots of two, seems pretty true. Although, from Robert Pattinson's lips to the media's ears, Pattinson told the Daily Mirror, "I don't have a girlfriend. I don't know why."

Pattinson continued stating, "You always think you're going to get more girls after you've made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you're like, 'I'm a big movie star and I want to go out with some models'. But I don't know why that doesn't happen."

Pattinson explained, "It's especially different in LA. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that's a bad thing. But I don't really have a type." If Robert is lying about his relationship with Stewart to throw the media off, he's doing a good job. Also, what girl would not want to date Pattinson?

Pattinson Weirded Out By His Fans

A word of advice ladies, when you attempt to get Twilight star, Robert Pattinson to fall in love with you, don't use fresh bloody wounds to do it.

Pattinson has already had enough of his fair share of crazed fans, especially the ones that led him to being hit by a NYC taxi. Let's just say obsessed fans might not be Robert's favorite. Pattinson stated, "People ambush me and try and find out what hotel I’m staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair,” he said. “Everyone just screams and screams. It still feels surreal. One time, there were these four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled. And then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross!"

Pattinson's craziest fan of them all... "A mother recently gave me her baby and asked me: 'Can you please bite her head?" according to the actor. Fans do realize that he's not really a vampire, right?

It's not just the fans and teenagers that Twilight star Robert Pattinson has captured the hearts of, but also big time celebs like Jennifer Love Hewitt! I'm sure you've all imagined what you would do if you ever met the world's favorite vampire and Jennifer Love Hewitt is no different. She hoped to bump into him and the rest of the Twilight crew at Comic-Con but wasn't lucky enough to. "I'd pass out. I can't talk about it, 'cause I'd pass out," she said. "It's because he's Edward. Listen, Edward can fly you through the forest. He's like Aladdin with vampire teeth — there's magic-carpet rides. He can sing. He can watch you sleep. He plays music. He sniffs your neck. I mean, please!" If the Ghost Whisperer star feels like she would pass out what chance do any of us normal girls have if in some alternate reality we ran into the hunky vampire.



Jennifer hasn't given up yet though. She's hoping that she'll be able to have some type of role in any future Twilight movies, no matter how big or small it is. "I want a part so bad. Any part's fine. I will be the vampire who carries Robert Pattinson's luggage in the airport, that is the part that I will play if they need it," she said. "Jamie wants to play a werewolf, so we're both putting it out there."

Robert Pattinson: Etiquitte 101 - Tipping for Celebrities

Robert Pattinson is a mediocre tipper.
The 'Twilight' star left the waitstaff a $50 tip following a luxurious late night snack with four friends at New York's Il Cantinori restaurant last Tuesday.

Despite the first-class service they received, the 23-year-old actor failed to reward staff appropriately after eating and drinking up a $350 tab at the Greenwich Village eatery.

Robert - who was in New York to work on his latest movie 'Remember Me' - and his friends arrived at the restaurant at 10pm and sipped bottles of Italian beer and Chianti red wine until they left at midnight. A source told America's OK! magazine: "They were the last diners to leave."

Despite the disappointing tip, Robert - who had the Caprese salad and the veal Milanese - was described as "nice and friendly" by waiting staff. When it comes to the gratuity, 18-20% is standard for regular folks. 25-30% is standard for people 'in the media.' Bruce Willis has been known to tip a C-note for a cup of coffee.

THIS TIME, we can chalk it off to the inexperience of youth. Rob, you have the money, dip a little deeper into your pocket next time.

Robert Pattinson and Taxi Collide

Robert Pattinson was grazed by a taxi cab in New York while filming the movie Remember Me. Pattinson's fans just can't seem, to get enough of him so he ran across the street to escape a group of them. He was then hit on his hip by a moving taxi. The cab driver stopped immediately and Pattinson walked away with no injuries.

Fans are always crowding the set to try and get a look at Pattinson. He has recently hired his own security team, but maintains a positive attitude about his fans. The film's production company, Summit Entertainment has tried to downplay the incident and says that Pattinson's fans are not at all responsible. A statement from Summit said, "Rob Pattinson is fine, the reports are exaggerated, and it was not caused by fans." So maybe Pattinson was just never taught to look both ways before crossing the street.

Robert Pattinson Gives Us His Opinion on 'New Moon'

After the exciting night at the MTV awards Robert Pattinson briefly spoke about the 2cd part to Twilight New Moon. There have been some videos on YouTube about the new movie coming out, but can you believe it...he hasn't seen any of them!! He said, "I haven't seen anything! I mean, from what I've seen from playback and stuff when I've been shooting it, it looks amazing. So I think ["New Moon"] should be [good]. I'm keeping it as a surprise from myself."

We're all excited for New Moon to hit theaters which is set out to release November 20th. Hopefully we'll agree with Robert Pattinson and think the new movie will be amazing as well.

In the meanwhile Robert has already started shooting a new untitled move about romance and comedy before he gets back into the Twilight series to shoot the 3rd part, Eclipse.

Twilight Co-stars Spark Real-Life Romance Rumors!

It seems that if it is not a story about the John and Kate plus 8 saga, than it is a story about romances brewing on the set of the Twilight film sequel New Moon on the cover of every tabloid at the supermarket checkout!

The rumors are swirling that New Moon co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are lovers on and off screen. After the recent MTV Movie Awards the two were spotted having an romantic dinner alone at an LA area restaurant, after which the two retreated back to their hotel. I can only hope that he was just consoling Stewart after the cringe-worthy drop of her golden popcorn award and awkward acceptance speech! Maybe offering up some public speaking pointers? Hey, it is just a thought!

I am sure myself, and all of the millions of tween girl Twilight fans are screaming "Say it isn't so!"

Robert Pattinson kiss for sale

A kiss from Robert Pattinson was auctioned off at the Cannes film festival last night to raise money for amfAR's annual Cinema Against AIDS. Feeling extra generous Pattinson decided to auction off kisses to two different people. How much does a kiss from Robert Pattinson cost? Just a wopping $20,000.

Other items auctioned off at Cannes included former president Clinton's Alpine Alto saxophon, a 1995 Bruce Weber picture of Sean Penn, and a private screening of the Brad Pitt-Quentin Tarantino movie Inglourious Bastards. Josh Hartnett offered to strip to raise money for the charity, but sadly the bids never got high enough.

A total of more than $1 million was raised at the charity auction. "This is an amazing turnout this year, and we've doing this for 15 years. I think, considering the economy, we did a great job here tonight," amfAR chairman Harvey Weinstein said.

Twilight Mania Continues: Introducing Twilight Perfume!

Okay, so you've seen the movie several times and have read the entire series. You're officially obsessed. Now, you want to smell like Bella/Edward, right? Ha! Yes, it looks like plans are already well established for a Twilight perfume and the bottle design is stirring up some problems! These people are smart and cashing in on everything Twilight!

The makers of the new Twilight perfume seem to have used the exact same design bottle as 'Nina' by Nina Ricci.
The bottle is so similar that even the leaves on the top look the same; the only difference seems to be the colour and of course, the box. Hmm, sounds pretty obvious.

We also heard that actress Sarah Jessica Parker has released a new perfume on her fragrance line that happens to be titled, "Twilight," and is interesting in cashing in on the Twilight brand and linking the two. Can't say we blame her for that one! Anyone else hear these rumors? What's the crazy deal?

Breaking news! Breaking news! The Twilight star's trademark long, never-been-washed tousled hair is gone. He was seen this weekend with a short new do - what do we think, PCM folks? Hot or not? We are definitely feeling the new clean-cut look.

For the past week, 26-year-old Scorpion King 2 actor, Michael Copon, has been rumored to be replacing Taylor Lautner, 16, in the role of Jacob Black in the forthcoming Twilight movie sequel, New Moon.

In the book series, Jacob Black's physique drastically grows beyond his natural teenage frame. 'Twilight' fans are reportedly speaking out against the change and want Lautner to stay in the role for the next film. What do you think? New 'Twilight' Director

Director Chris Weitz, who directed The Golden Compass, has been confirmed as the director for New Moon, the sequel to the hugely successful film Twilight, according to MTV and other media outlets. He's got a pretty big task at hand! We know that fans will be upset if this film doesn't impress and out-do the first one! Weitz is expressing his thanks and excitement in the following:

Mr. Weitz released a statement saying, “I am honored to have been entrusted with shepherding New Moon from the page to the screen. The extraordinary world that Stephenie has created has millions of fans, and it will be my duty to protect on their behalf the characters, themes and story they love. This is not a task to be taken lightly, and I will put every effort into realizing a beautiful film to stand alongside a beautiful book.”

Twilight star Robert Pattinson leaned in for a bite of Tyra Banks neck during a taping of The Tyra Banks Show last week. Don't worry, he's not that weird. She asked him to do it! This silly moment makes for our PCM Picture of The Day!

Meanwhile, the director of Twilight has been given the green light to start work on a sequel as the film breaks box office records this weekend! It has taken $70.6m in its opening weekend in the US. The movie rang up the fourth-highest November opening weekend of all time. Twilight is proving extremely popular with the same teenage audience that enjoyed Harry Potter. Have you seen Twilight? Twilight's Kristin Stewart @ Letterman

Robert Pattinson isn't the only Twilight star that's getting attention lately. His co-star Kristen Stewart, 18, was out in chilly NYC signing autographs for fans that waited outside of The David Letterman Show. I can't believe she's only 18, she looks so much older!

Stewart, who plays Bella Swan in the book-based film, recently talked about how she thinks her co-star Pattinson is definitely “pretty sexy.” People are freaking out of his good looks, girls are going crazy for this guy everywhere. People have camped out at malls for chances to see the star when they were scheduled to appear at malls all over the U.S. earlier this month.

P.S. In case you're living under a rock, Twilight opened in theaters today and we're curious to see where it will end up on the weekend box office list! Do we smell a number one movie?

Twilight Mayhem

Several kids were trampled outside of a mall in San Francisco, CA while waiting for a meet and greet with Twilight star and new teen heart-throb Robert Pattinson. There were nearly 3,000 anxious teens in the mob that was ten times larger than event officials planned. One teen suffered a broken nose and several other fainted. The event at the San Francisco mall had to be cancelled and will not be rescheduled. The Twilight mall tour is being run by Hot Topic and Pattison is expected to continue with the rest of the stops at other malls across the country.Remember there are only 500 passes available per store! It is rumored that fans are beginning to camp out at early as 3:30am to secure there spot in line, let's just hope that they get things under control and the mayhem in San Francisco does not get repeated.
