Sean Penn Withdraws Motion for Divorce

Sean Penn has withdrawn his motion for divorce from wife Robin Wright Penn. Wasn't he hooking up with a younger starlet just last week? Wasn't that affair during separation the 'final straw' according to many Hollywood insiders?

True of false, what does that say for Robin Wright Penn if she takes Sean back? Just saying.

What is Sean's explanation for it all? In a quote to the Daily News he says, "It was an arrogant mistake." Now if anyone knows Sean, he is arrogant. So he could have just said it was a mistake, or "I was just being me."

So the game begins. Now Robin Wright Penn has 30 days to stick it to Sean or eat crow herself. Stay tuned, this is about to get good. The reality is Robin can walk with a lot of cash in spousal support. I wonder what the new Vegas odds (prop bet) are now?

Sean Penn & Natalie Portman? A couple?

Can it be true? Is the cause of Robin Wright Penn's angry divorce to Sean Penn, Natalie Portman?

Even more interesting is the broad age difference between the Sean Penn (48) and Natalie Portman (27) -- 21 years apart. Star Magazine has the couple together as early as March 17th at LA's Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar.

What do they have in common beyond acting? Sex? A source is quoted, "She (Natalie) stimulates him (Sean) in ways no other person has, mentally or professionally. There's a lot more there with Natalie than any of the other girls Sean's been with." I mean what will they talk about? Her favorite musical tastes? The friends they have and activities they both do must be an obstacle as well. Natalie is a known as a great actress in her generation and so has Penn, but to throw her into a family situation abruptly will inevitably become a burden to their relationship. Sean will have a heavy price to pay for his divorce, he better hope he stays with Natalie or he can then ask himself if parting with his dedicated wife, family and money was worth it.

I have to wonder if they both thought this out before they decided to break up a family. How long will it last? How long do you think they have? I'd be interested to read any comments.

Last month, Lindsay Lohan was spotted "nuzzling" on Sean Penn in NYC.

Well, Lolo and Penn were back together at Nobu in L.A. the other night. A "source" told Celebuzz (via Page 6), "Sean was the only guy at a table full of Lindsay and her friends. The whole table chatted and chain-smoked." (Chain-smoking...how attractive)

Oh, and what about that SamRo? Page Six says that she really did end it, but Lolo is in denial. Some source said, "Sam broke up with Lindsay but she is completely in denial about it."

Sean Penn fans - breathe a sigh of relief. A trailer for the film, Milk, which opens on Nov. 26 this year, made its way online, and Penn -- along with James Franco and his 'Into the Wild' star Emile Hirsch -- revive the story of the infamous '70s gay San Francisco politician Harvey Milk who was eventually assassinated.

James Franco is playing his life partner, Scott Smith, and the ubiquitous Josh Brolin as his eventual killer, Dan White. The film is directed by Gus Van Sant. The movie is already looking to be a contender for Oscar season.

Robin and Sean Penn back on again?

According to TMZ.com , Robin and Sean been have called off their pending divorce proceedings. The couple filed paperwork for a divorce last December. Let's hope they are trying to work out their differences, you don't see much of that these days!
