Former Miss Universe Lara Dutta has begun twittering, thanks to her Housefull co-star Ritesh Deshmukh who helped her open her account.
Reportedly, Lara created her Twitter account on the sets of the film that also stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan. In three hours after creating her account, Lara also managed to get around 500 followers.
“Hiya! Just set up my account with help from RD on the sets of Housefull! Very excited,” 31-year-old actor Lara wrote in her first tweet on the micro-blogging website.
Ritesh also expressed his happiness on Lara's entry in the world of Twitter.
“Guys. just got Lara on twitter.@DuttaLara,” Ritesh wrote on his webpage.
However, ‘Housefull’ director Sajid Khan was not too happy with the 'Twitter' activity on the sets of his film.
"Hi guys, this is Sajid Khan. Please do this later as I need Ritesh and Lara on the set, Sethji-Akki (Akshay Kumar) is waiting along with Arjuna," the director wrote on Ritesh's twitter page.
Lara now joins the list of Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat, Karan Johar, Uday Chopra and Gul Panag on Twitter.
