Heidi Klum Undergoes Lawsuit
Project Runway host, Heidi Klum is getting sued by Van Cleef and Arepels for more than $25,000 in damages. The luxury jewelry company has accused thirty-four year old Klum of copying their custom made clover design for one of her jewelry lines.
In an interview with People, the company Klum designs for, Mouwad USA, defended the German supermodel by saying that clover, hearts, and crosses are "universal symbols and are commonly used in jewelry," They also pointed out that "The clover has always been in fashion, and you can see that many other luxury jewelry houses have their own interpretations of this wonderful shape such as Louis Vuitton and Chopard."
After checking out this picture of Heidi and her not-so-lucky charms, I'm not to sure they're worth the lawsuit.

Jessica Alba is engaged
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are not only expecting their first child together, but they are also engaged! Alba was spotted over Christmas with a rock on her finger, provoking rumors that the two would marry.
"I can confirm that they are engaged," said her publicist, Brad Cafarelli.
The baby is due in late spring or early summer, but there is no word yet on any wedding plans.
Mischa Barton busted for DUI
Here is yet another celeb good girl, taking a trip to the bad side. It has been reported that OC startlet Mischa Barton was released from the West Hollywood Sheriff's station this morning. Barton was arrested on suspicion of a DUI, posession of narcotics, and driving on a suspended license. Uh-oh, doesn't look like a happy new year, for Miss Mischa!
Grandpa to give away the forturne
Heiress Paris Hilton may be kissing that sweet inheritence goodbye, because according to TMZ.com, Grandpa Barron is donating 97% of his fortune to various charities. Whatever money would be left over is what is to be split among surviving family members. It has been previously stated that Grandpa is embarassed by some of Paris' recent behavoir, seriously whose grandpa wouldn't be? I don't think Paris is going to have to give up her habit anytime soon, but perhaps she should be keeping some more thrifty ideas in mind.
Fergie and Josh engaged
TMZ.com has reported that Josh Duhamel has popped the question to his "glamorous" fiancee Fergie. The report says that the proposal was made "recently", but not on Christmas Day. We certainly wish them all the best, the couple has been together since 2004.
She is a person just like you, ya'all!

Will Smith defending Hitler?!?!? This means trouble!
A Scottish newspaper is reporting that during an interview Smith made an alleged suggestion/comment in defense of Adolf Hitler, which in turn infuriated the Jewish community and has the Jewish Defense league calling for Sen. Barack Obama to repudiate Smith's comments and theaters to pull his newest film "I am Legend". Click here to read the full story on TMZ.com
Perhaps, the title of the film should be changed from "I am Legend", to "I'm in Trouble"
Will Smith has since released a statement regarding the incident and calls the claims of the Scottish paper ludicrous and untrue.
Jay-Z steps down as Def Jam President
Rapper and Def Jam president Jay-Z announced on Christmas eve that he will be stepping down from his position as president of Def Jam records. He is quoted as saying "it's "time for me to take on new challenges,". His boss L.A. Reid says that Jay will be missed. Wonder what types of challenges, lay ahead for Jay-Z, do we hear the beat of little feet in the not so distant future?? hmm...only time will tell!

Lindsay Lohan is a Wildcat in the Sack?
"Lindsay's definitely a nymphomaniac. She's wild in bed. We'd have sex a couple of times in the day and then go to it through the night. We once did it four times in a row straight. That was crazy. Lindsay was insatiable. She'd demand sex again and again. We'd go at it for hours. She'd have worn out most guys. I couldn't believe I was looking down at Lindsay Lohan naked. We'd barely gotten through the door when we just ripped each other's clothes off. Lindsay is so hot. She has a great body. Her backside is fantastic, perfect, all plump and round. She has great curves but her belly is nice and flat and toned. We couldn't get enough of each other."
- Lindsay's ex-boyfriend, Riley Giles, sold his story to London's the News Of The World
Will Smith looks at the Bright Side of Life
Actor Will Smith said that Adolph Hitler “... didn't wake up going, ‘Let me do the most evil thing I can so today.’ I think he woke up one morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was ‘good.’”
The box office champ and star of "I Am Legend" offended more than a few folks with the statement; the Jewish Defense League said that Smith's words "spit on the memory of every person murdered by the Nazis. His disgusting words stick a knife in the backs of every veteran who fought (and sometimes died) to save the world from the intentions of Adolf Hitler."
After the firestorm, Will clarified himself with the following:
"It is an awful and disgusting lie. It speaks to the dangerous power of an ignorant person with a pen. I am incensed and infuriated to have to respond to such ludicrous misinterpretation. Adolph Hitler was a vile, heinous, vicious killer responsible for one of the greatest acts of evil committed on this planet."

Rodriguez to spend Christmas in jail
Lost star Michelle Rodriguez checked herself into Lynwood Jail yesterday afternoon to begin serving her mandatory 180 day sentence for violating her probation. Her probation violation stems from failure to show completion of community service and consuming alcohol three time while wearing an alcohol monitoring anklet. You may remember Lynwood Jail, because it is also the same place that Paris Hilton served her brief time.
Tis' the season....enjoy the new year Michelle!
Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley wed
Grey's Anatomy's Katherine Heigl and musician Josh Kelley exchanged vows in Park City, Utah.
Attendees included Grey's Anatomy castmates T.R. Knight and Sandra Oh and Private Practice star Kate Walsh.
The 30 minute nuptials took place in a small, private tent at the Stein Eriksen Lodge, which was decorated with white flowers and white candles. Heigl walked down the aisle to a song Kelley wrote that was performed on the cello and guitar. A source said Heigl and Kelley wrote their own vows.
Wedding guests began to arrive in Salt Lake City on Thursday, and the wedding rehearsal took place on Saturday. Heigl was also thrown a "really feminine and small" bridal shower.
The two met when on the 2005 set of Kelley's music video for "Only You." Kelley told People in November that he's excited to wed. "We're madly in love and she makes me excited to become married and to have a family and spend my life with someone. We're fairly opposite but we also share a lot of the same values," he said.
Another Good Girl Gone Bad?
Danielle Fishel was arrested early in the morning December 20, for drunk driving. The Nutrisystem spokesperson is best known for playing the role of Topanga on ABC's Boy Meets World. Many people don't know that she went to her Prom with schoolmate, NSYC's Lance Bass.
We're guessing that this is a one-time incident. Unlike many starlets, she has no prior arrests.
Roofing Billionaire Dies From Own Roof
Ken Hendricks, a roofing billionaire and the 91st richest man in the US, died today after falling through his own garage roof. Hendricks was the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of ABC Supply Co, the nation's largest wholesale distributor of roofing, which does about $3 billion in business a year.
In 2006, he remarked on his wealth in an interview and claimed that it didn’t "make any difference to him" and that he could only spend the money if he sold the company. He stated, "I'd have to sell the company, and I'll sell the company over my dead body." At 66, after receiving massive head injuries from his fall, Hendriks was pronounced dead this morning, and so as an additional irony, his wish just might come true.
Gas Prices Getting You Down? Have No Fear the Lithium-ion Battery is Here!
Researchers at Stanford University have discovered a new way to improve the rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, using nanowires, so that that charge produces lasts 10x longer then existing batteries. The new Li-ion battery will be able to provide 20 hours of reusable life, which would provide enough juice to watch 6 to 7 movies during plane flights.
For electric-run cars, the new lithium-ion battery will allow vehicles to drive 1,2000 miles instead of just 120 miles on a single charge. With gas prices on the rise across America, the Li-ion battery will certainly pioneer a revolutionary change over to electric cars. The downside to electric vehicles is that their current design closely resembles that of a clown car, and will be quite a difficult downgrade from the spacious, gas-guzzling SUVs we have all come to love.
On a more positive note, the new lithium battery will create a lessened demand for oil, which means that world will have to find another resource to fight over, and I sure am excited to find out what that will be.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Shoots Down Playboy
Jennifer Love Hewitt, 28-year-old star of CBS's supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer, has turned down big money offers to pose nude in Playboy. Unfortunately for her many male fans, Hewitt will not be getting back at the recent media attacks concerning her weight gain by shedding her clothes for the camera.
It seems that her retaliation to the comments about her pear shaped and cellulited figure will end at her blog posting where she states "Like all women out there should, I love my body…To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."
Although she loves her body enough to get in a bikini, apparently her infatuation doesn't extend as far as stripping down in front of America. Personally, I don't blame her, but I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there who will be disappointed that they won't get the chance to see a topless J-Love.
Bye Bye, Borat
Sacha Baron Cohen is officially retiring the characters of Borat and Ali G.
The success of the former has made it impossible to ambush unsuspecting people, he said.
Cohen created Borat and Ali G almost a decade ago, but the popularity of the movie Borat has made his antics as the beloved characters impossible.
"When I was being Ali G and Borat, I was in character sometimes 14 hours a day, and I came to love them, so admitting I am never going to play them again is quite a sad thing," Cohen said. "It is like saying goodbye to a loved one."
Last January Cohen intimated to National Public Radio that his characters may have overstayed their welcome. "I think the days of me going undercover are probably over," he said.
These days Cohen is busy caring for the new baby girl his wife, Isla Fisher, had in October.
"I try and keep that part of my life separate from the professional part because I don't think it helps people appreciate the work or the comedy or make me any funnier if they know what's going on at home," Cohen told the Telegraph.
I don't know if anyone else is excited, but I sure am!
Lost is coming back soon!!!! I was going through withdrawl...haha!
No wedding for Jamie Lynn
Odus Jackson, uncle to Casey Aldridge, said Aldridge and Jamie Lynn Spears have no plans to wed yet.
"They may or may not [get married]," he said. "You just never know."
Jackson, a pastor in Gloster, Miss., said he hopes the two marry, but he is realistic.
"I hope they will stick it out and get married for the child's sake and their sake," he says. "But if they're not in love and it was just a fantasy, they don't need to make the same mistake twice."

Paris Hilton Tries to Adopt
Stars are often attributed with not giving credit to the "little people," but Paris Hilton takes it to the next level. The socialite came across actors posing as Smurfs in front of a candy store in Russia and offered to "adopt" them.
Apparently this holiday season Hilton has been hitting the eggnog a little too hard, and she mistook the little people Smurfs for the actual cartoon. Paris is quoted by an eyewitness as saying "Oh my, real live Smurfs. I always wanted one when I was a kid."
Although not meaning to be offensive, Hilton actually bent down to talk to them and asked in a babyish voice if she could "take them home." In response, one actor who spoke fluent English went off on her and told her that she was being patronizing and that he was a grown man.
Unfortunately, it seems that for now Paris will just have to stick to adopting Chihuahuas.

More on Jamie Lynn's pregnancy
Jamie Lynn Spears and her mother have said that Casey Aldridge is the father of the sixteen-year-old's baby.
Aldridge, who is believed to be eighteen or nineteen, grew up in Liberty, Miss., about thirty miles from the Spears home in Kentwood, La. Recently he has lived in Southern California and drove Spears to the set for her Nickelodeon series Zoey 101.
"He took amazing care of Jamie Lynn," a Spears family friend told People. "Anything ever went wrong, he always comforted her. He took care of her."
According to the source, Spears' parents both like Aldridge, as well.
"Jaime talks about how he really likes Casey because he's a great guy," the source said. "Lynne really likes him, too. He's a good kid, cares a lot about Jamie Lynn. They both adore Casey."
A source close to Aldridge said that although the pregnancy is a surprise, he will take responsibility.
"He's a stand-up guy, and he will take care of the baby," the source said. "He is not the type to let her deal with it on her own. He will be there in any way he can. ... I know a baby wasn't in his plans for right now, but he'll do what he has to do, and he'll be a good father. He really will."
Johnny Depp is #1
Sweeny Todd star, Johnny Depp rates number one for the third year in a row on Autograph magazine's annual list of Hollywood's top ten best and worst signers. Soft-spoken and laid-back, at 44, Depp makes an effort to chat with his fans and is listed as the most likely to give out his autograph.
The magazine ranked celebrities on data collected from California, New York, and Europe. Also making the list of gracious signers are Matt Damon, Jack Nicholoson, Rosario Dawson, John Travolta, Katherine Heigl, Jay Leno, Dakota Fanning, and Rusell Crowe. Apparently last year's list, where Crowe ranked among the worst, played a hand in improving the actor's relationship with his fans.
This years worst signers include: Will Ferrell, Tobey Maguire, Joaquin Phoenix, William Shatner, Renee Zellweger, John Malkovich, Julie Andrews, Bruce Willis, Teri Hatcher and Scarlett Johansson. The article does note that those on the worst list do occasionally sign, and those on the best sometimes do not. Although we can all agree that the paparazzi can be a buzz kill, what is come down to is who has time for their fans.

This Year's Top 10 Quotes
Here we go folks. These are the Top 10 quotes of the year that highlight the most absurd and ridiculous events of the year.
1. Now does anybody remember Andrew Meyer? Our first quote comes from the infamous University of Florida incident, where Andrew Meyer was tased by multiple police officers and cried out, "Don't Tase Me, Bro!". Within two days, this phrase was all over the Internet and showed up on rings tones, t-shirts, and who knows what else.
2. Poor lil Lauren Upton or should we say poor lil South Carolina. During the Miss Teen America Contest in August, Upton spoke very seriously about education. Here is a private reenactment of this splendid display of spokesman ship.
Host: Miss. South Carolina your question is??? Why do you think that one-fifth of Americans are unable to locate the Unite States on the Map?"
Upton answered..."I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and Iraq and everywhere like such as I believe that they should our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for us."
Truth be told, I do not think she could have answered any better if she tried. South Carolina must be so proud.
3. Now who could forget Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinedjad's famous words during his Columbia University lecture. "In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country." You're working with America now. Better watch your back or your foot. You never know when you might feel a little tap.
4. Shock Jock Don Imus. Do I really need to say more? He has always delighted us with his fun-loving racial antics (obvious sarcasm). One most remembered comment was to the Rutger University women's basketball team: "That's some nappy-headed hos there".
5. "I don't recall." I don't recall what I was supposed to be talking about. But, maybe if Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales could give me a little information....damn he doesnt recall either.
6. "There is only three things he (Mayor Rudy Guiliani) mentions in a sentence: a noun and a verb and 9/11." Senator Joseph Biden is always on the look out for bad grammar and education. But one question remains. What about Dela-Where?
7. It is a known fact that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Democrat) doesn't like name calling. As he states here "I'm not going to get into a name calling match with somebody who has a 9 percent approval rating." Obviously, somebody is jealous of Cheney's big 9 percent.
8. Idaho Republican Senator Larry Craig stated that "I have a wide stance when going to the bathroom." After questioning the propositioned police officer and the Senator's wife this statement was proven false. Very false.
9. "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." This is how Biden chose to describe rival Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. My question is...and slavery ended when?
10. Last, but not at all least, Former President Jimmy Carter, in an interview in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette newspaper, said "I think as far as the adverse impact on the nation around the world, this administration has been the worst in history." Obviously, Alzheimers
has taken quite a toll on somebody's memory.

This just in! New Years Info!
This was bound to happen sooner or later!
A man is selling his soul on ebay to earn extra cash for Christmas. His asking price? Only 1 million dollars! He claims the high bidder will win his spirit in a glass jar and he will "relinquish ownership" in a signed contract. Wow, this is more than just a little bit creepy. Is is just me, or does he even look a little....off? At the time no bids had been made, and ebay has since taken down his auction...phew!

blah-blah-blah - where are her parents? Her handlers? Doesn't this young lady have an older sister or a "cool aunt" to help guide her into young adulthood?
The fourth seaon of Nick's "Zoey 101" starring Ms. Spears finished taping this past fall.
The new episodes will run through 2008, or until she does something really stupid.

This one hits close to home!
Philadelphia TV news anchor Alycia Lane, was arrested in New York for punching a female cop and calling her some choice names. It seems that a little road rage led to the incident. Lane was in a car that was stuck behind an unmarked cop car, Lane and her boyfriend then confronted the cops and an argument ensued leading to Lane striking one of the cops. She has been charged with assaulting a officer. Lane claims that she had no idea they were cops...yeah sure...
Rockers refuse to pay management three million
Rock band The Killers are involved in a nasty little lawsuit with their former manager. It seems that Braden Merrick, former manager, is asking for 3 million dollars in unpaid commissions from 2006. The Killers say "No, Way!" and claim that they were booked by Merrick without licenses and wish to void their management contract. Why does 3 million seem a little extreme to me...but I guess it is up to a judge to decide in the end.

Dan Fogelberg, popular singer-songwriter from the 70’s and 80’s died on Sunday, December 16, from nearly four years of battling prostate cancer. Fogelberg was probably best known for his hits such as, “Leader of the Band,” “Same old Lang Syne,” and “Hard to Say.”
The former artist released 20 albums beginning in 1972. His last album came out in 2003 and as luck would have it, it’s titled, “Full Circle."

The Divorce is off!
“We’re working things out,” said Anderson on her website today. Does this mean that the divorce she filed against husband, Rick Solomon, (of not even three months) is off? We guess so . . . for now . . . until she decides to let her capricious side take over again.

Jessica Alba is pregnant
Jessica Alba and boyfriend Cash Warren are reportedly expecting their first baby next year.
"I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer," Alba's spokesman told People.
The two met on the 2004 set of The Fantastic Four, where he was a set assistant.
Due to this video clip, rumors are also circulating that Victoria Beckham may be expecting. The video is grainy, but Ginger Spice supposedly points to Posh's stomach during one song and yells, "She's pregnant!!!!"
Posh's spokespeople have denied the rumors.
"Victoria is not pregnant. She has always talked about having more children, but for now she is concentrating on professional commitments and raising her three young boys," they said.

Britney Spears will finally go under oath
Wow, I think we have all been waiting for this one! Britney Spears is scheduled to report at K-Fed's lawyers office at 10:00am this morning, according to TMZ.com. Let's see if she actually makes it on time. She is reported to be answering questions regarding child custody and spousal support. Britney will have her own attorneys present at the time of the deposition, who are expected to raise objections. The purpose of the deposition is to gather evidence to support K-Fed's fight for sole-custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. It is stated that to avoid embarrassment to Spears, a judge ruled that the deposition not be video-taped. Although, somehow I am sure that info will get leaked out of this somehow...stay tuned for more details. Hmmm...I wonder if she will be wearing her pink-wonder wig!

Aretha Franklin revealed that Halle Berry is one of the three women she’s considering casting to play her in an upcoming biopic.
Aretha says, “I’m still thinking of several people, and that would be Halle Berry, possibly Fantasia, she’ll be through on Broadway in January, and it could be Jennifer Hudson — you never know. There’s no final on that yet. I’m still observing them and their projects. Dreamgirls I’ve watched a couple of times lately, and I’m still just trying to arrive at the right decision.”Interesting, keep a look out for that one!

Scott Baio ties the knot
Renowned bachelor Scott Baio reportedly wed girlfriend Renee Sloan on Saturday in Los Angeles. The small rooftop ceremony was filmed for an episode of Baio's reality series, Scott Baio is 45... and Single.
Baio had dated the model-actress in the late 1990s after the two met at the Playboy Mansion. After their split they remained friends, and they restarted their relationship several years ago.
Sloan's 18-year-old daughter attended the ceremony, as did Baio and Sloan's newborn daughter.
Baio had previously displayed a reluctance to marry. "My parents were married 53 years, good and bad," he told People recently. "Can I do that? Probably not. But I really hope I can. I don't know, 53 years with the same human being? I can't be around myself for more than three or four hours before I want to kill everybody."
Also tying the knot on Saturday was Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough. He wed longtime girlfriend Leigh Boniello at St. James Cathedral in his hometown of Orlando.
"The whole thing was like it belonged in a bridal magazine," said one guest.
Dorough met Boniello in 2000 when she worked as the Backstreet Boys' Webmaster.
He proposed to her at her family's home in New Jersey last New Year's. "She wasn't expecting it, and I was quite nervous – more nervous about proposing to her in front of 40 family and friends than about performing in front of 40,000 people onstage," Dorough said.

Caprica was a lush, hospitable planet before the Cylons attacked, leaving it devastated; of the Twelve Colonies, it was the leader in scientific research, culture, and politics. Imagine that you’re a journalist living in the days before Caprica’s demise, and submit a video, magazine or newspaper article that might have appeared at that time. It could be anything: a news feed, a celebrity puff piece, even a general interest story.
