Lindsay Lohan's Sticky Fingers
A Columbia University student, Masha Markova, recently claimed Lindsay Lohan swiped her $11,000 blond mink coat at a New York City party earlier in the year.
Dina Lohan said that her daughter never stole the fur coat.
"I talked to Lindsay. We were laughing hysterically on the phone," the momager told Inside Edition. "I mean really, it's silly."
Markova reportedly got her coat back three weeks later - after Lohan had been pictured wearing it - but wants the actress to pay for the unauthorized rental.
Now 23-year-old model Lauren Hastings, who is reportedly dating Shia LaBeouf, is on buzznet.com claiming the troubled actress lifted thousands of dollars worth of clothing from her closet.
"Basically, I have two closets, a lot of the stuff was missing out of one and the next closet was almost completely empty," Hastings said in a video on the site. She said while she was away her house-sitter hosted an unauthorized party. Hastings came home and found five witnesses telling her the story behind the theft.
"They all said they saw Lindsay Lohan basically in my closet, handing a bag of clothes to her bodyguard," Hastings added.
According to Inside Edition, Hastings reported the theft, but the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office has declined to prosecute the actress due to insufficient evidence.
"I contacted Lindsay and said, 'Look, I know you stole my clothes,' Hastings said. "She then said I was completely delusional; I was pathetic."
A rep for Lohan said: "This is not true. It's not what it seems."
In other Lohan news, the actress made headlines for her role in the yet-to-be-filmed Charles Manson biopic, but it appears her hard-partying ways may have hindered her casting.
The actress' contract to play Manson follower and family member Nancy Pittman has reportedly been cancelled because producers are concerned her two 2007 rehab stints failed to curb her partying. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also claims other major movie stars were refusing to sign due to Lohan's presence.
