Miley Cyrus Sets Up Online Auction for Haiti

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has organized an online auction to benefit Haiti featuring donations from many of her celebrity friends.

"Ever since the earthquake, I've been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti – and I wanted to do more," Cyrus said.

The auction will begin on Feb. 8 at Ebay.com/Miley. Miley fans can bid on the Herve Leger dress the she wore to the Jan. 31 Grammy Awards and two tickets to the Hollywood premiere of her new film, The Last Song.

Several other celebrities have donated things for the auction. "My mom and I started calling and texting all of our friends to see if they’d like to be a part of the auction," Miley said. "Demi [Lovato] was one of the first to respond. Hugh Jackman was also excited to donate something."

Britney Spears gave the custom made silver Versace dress she wore to the 2008 MTV VMAs and Nicole Richie donated jewelry from her line House of Harlow. "I texted Nicole and right away she sent over some amazing jewelry and Joel [Madden] sent some of his clothes," Miley said.

All the proceeds from the auction will go to the American Red Cross to support the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

"I want to get people involved and show that even the little things you can do can make a difference," Miley said.

Miley Cyrus and Her Brother Want Matching Tattoos

Metro Station rocker Trace Cyrus has several tattoos, and after getting a matching design to his singer father Billy Ray Cyrus he now can’t wait until 17-year-old Miley is old enough to get her first piece of body art.

“I already have a matching one with my dad, there’s no reason I wouldn’t do it with my siblings," he said. "Someone you’re that close to, it’s something that means something to you obviously, so why wouldn’t you do it?”

Miley still has another year to go before she can get some body art to match her brother, but the siblings – who are currently touring together – often swap relationship advice with one another.

“She helps me with my girl problems, I talk to her about boys she’s talking to," single Trace told OK! magazine. "She has a smart head on her shoulders and anything that she decides is going to be the right decision.”

Trace, 20, also shared that he and his mother Tish are getting matching tattoos as well.

“My mom’s going to get a ribcage tattoo that is definitely the biggest tattoo she’s ever gotten," he said. "I’m definitely proud of her for that. It will definitely be a little bit different of an experience for me. I’ve never gone to get a tattoo with my mom ever. She’s taken me to get a tattoo but we’ve never both gotten one at the same time.”

Miley Cyrus Leaves Twitter

Don't bother searching for @MileyCyrus on Twitter anymore because the teen star has deleted her Twitter account. Apparently Miley's decision to leave Twitter has something to do with her The Last Song co-star and rumored love interest Liam Hemsworth.

Her final tweet read, "FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason." A few minutes after the tweet was posted her page was gone.

Miley was always one for posting a lot of drama on Twitter, but not anymore. Her mom's Twitter is also gone, but sister Brandi and brother Trace are still tweeting. However even though the Hannah Montana star left Twitter, her fans are trying to get her to come back. One of the current trending topics on Twitter is #mileycomeback.

Miley Cyrus and Ex-Boyfriend Have Twitter Fight

Teen star Miley Cyrus has been exchanging bitter words with her ex-boyfriend Justin Gaston via Twitter. The 'Hannah Montana' actress split from the underwear model in June after dating for about a year.

Justin began the fued by writing on his page: "People mistake stupidity for bravery way too easily."

Miley soon replied with, "Yeah. I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don't care. You're afraid to love."

The two have kept in touch after the breakup and Miley appears to still have feelings for Justin.
Last week, she wrote several heartfelt messages for her former boyfriend.
"I am in between happy and sad today," she wrote. "I'm happy because I love you. I'm sad because I can't get enough of you."

Miley and Justin have been very active on Twitter since the breakup, posting their feelings about one another and the split.

"Just recorded a demo," Justin wrote. "Now I'm sitting on the couch wondering why we as humans try to pretend everything's OK when it isn't. Just be real.”

Miley replied: "Everything IS ok. Honestly. I can't change you're mind and your heart no longer belongs to me. Maybe YOU'RE the one pretending you're fine (sic)."

Miley Sets Bad Example

Miley Cyrus (age 16) picked the perfect event to perform a pole dance; the 2009 Teen Choice awards. Is this the type role model she intends to be as she grows up? Regardless of her own personal lifestyle choices, performing a pole dance to children sets a very bad example. It's no wonder our children dance like they are having sex these days. Just look at how the girls behind her are looking up to her literally. Meanwhile her skimpy skirt was hardly two inches below her crotch. You would not have thought you were watching a 16 year old perform.

Teen Choice Awards

Twilight and Miley Cyrus dominated the Teen Choice Awards. Surprised? No I guess not, I'm sure it wasn't unexpected. Twilight raked in 11 of the 12 surfboards it was up for while young pop star and actress, Miley, sucked up about half a dozen awards! Creepy Miley Cyrus Fan Arrested

A 53-year-old man got a little too close to the set of Miley Cyrus' new movie and started making bizarre comments to younger fans nearby. Apparently, the man said he once made eye contact with Miley and the two subsequently "fell in love." The man also claimed that "nobody will ever be able to keep us apart. We're like one." He wouldn't cooperate with police when they tried to move him out of the area, and told them that Miley herself had asked him to be there and that she had put secret messages directed at him on "Hannah Montana." He was arrested, but released on bond the next day.

Miley Cyrus to Star in New Fairy Tale

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus will be staring in a new Disney fairy tale. The company has gotten the rights to Aprilynne Pike's young adult novel Wings and is developing the film especially for Miley.

She will play Laurel, a 15-year-old growing up in a sheltered home in a small town. She struggles to adjust to high school life when she attends a large school after being home schooled all her life. Laurel discovers she is not like the other kids when she grows a pair of wings and learns that she is a fairy.

Miley's mother Tish Cyrus will executive produce along with Temple Hill, the same company that produced Twilight. The novel Wings is the first of a planned four book series.

Currently, Miley is shooting the film The Last Song which is an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel. Sparks co-wrote the script as a vehicle for the young actress.

A new Cyrus hits the stage

Watch out Miley, your sister Brandi is moving in on your turf. Miley Cyrus' sister Brandy Cyrus recently opened for her father Billy Ray. Brandy opened for her father with her band Frank and Derol at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. Her band is made up of Codi Caraco and Secret Life of the American Teenager star Megan Park. The 22-year-old was no stranger to the stage however, having toured with Miley as one of her guitarists.

"I was really excited because the House of Blues is such a cool venue and we have been working so hard, rehearsing every day," Park said. "Honestly, I just couldn't wait to get up and do it again!"

Megan and Codi formed the band about a year ago and then added Brandi to help write songs. The pop trio plans to continue performing while pursuing a record deal.

Miley and Nick's break-up duet

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas have recorded a song together about their break-up. The song, "Before The Storm" did not originally include Miley, but the Jonas Brothers decided to take the opportunity to record with her. There are two versions of the song, one made just for the Jonas Brothers record that does not include Miley and one that includes Miley and is more personalized to tell her and Nick's story.

"'Before the Storm' is probably one of my favorite songs on the record," Nick said. "I think it's probably one of my favorite songs because it has a great story to it. It's a duet with Miley, which is great." "Before The Storm" will be on the Jonas Brothers upcoming album 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times.'

With Miley's recent break up with Justin Gaston, perhaps she and Nick will rekindle their romance. They were recently spotted on the set of Disney's 'Send It On' music video hugging and laughing together.

Another Hiccup For Miley

Oh, she's just being Miley. Here we go again. Teen pop icon Miley Cyrus has gotten herself mixed up in another picture controversy, this time by striking a pose that some may interpret as being disrespectful of another culture. In the shot below, Miley is sitting on the lap of boyfriend Justin Gaston. Along with others, she's pulling her eyelids apart, perhaps in a mocking gesture directed at the facial structure of Asians. It looks like Miley and her friends are sharing some sort of inside joke and posing for the cameras together. Because she's Miley Cyrus, this is a big deal. Any normal 16-year-old American posting this on their MySpace or Facebook page, let's be honest, probably wouldn't be scolded. But she's a role model to a lot of kids, there's no excuse for this, ya dig?!



The OCA, an organization "dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans" sent a statement to TMZ in response to the photo. It reads, in part: "The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent... Not only has Miley Cyrus and the other individuals in the photograph encouraged and legitimized the taunting and mocking of people of Asian descent, she has also insulted her many Asian Pacific American fans... The inclusion of an Asian Pacific American individual in the photo does not make it acceptable." What are your thoughts? Is this justified?

Obama's On Hannah Montana? (NOOOOO!)

The children of President-Elect Barack Obama, Malia and Sasha, are rumored to be entering the world of entertainment. No, don't do it, girls! You'll end up like that horrible, Miley!

"We're pleased that Malia and Sasha are fans and, as long as their parents say it's OK, they are invited to the set of `Hannah Montana' and all Disney Channel shows, for a guest role or a visit, anytime," the Disney Channel said in a statement.

Billy Ray Cyrus told Access Hollywood this week that the adorable children have been invited to appear on a future episode of Hannah Montana.

"The invitation is there," Cyrus said, although an Obama insider denies knowledge of such an offer. "You know the Hannah Montana film comes out in April. Maybe something might happen around then."

Stephen Baldwin's New Tat

On a dare, Stephen Baldwin got Miley Cyrus's initials tattooed on his arm. Why? Because she dared him to.

The two met last year at the White House, where the 15-year-old Cyrus dared him to get the Hannah Montana initials tattooed on him. In return she would let him appear on the show since his daughters are huge fans of the series.

A few days ago, while they Cyrus's were in Nashville, Miley's sister heard that Baldwin was in town promoting his new book. Her entourage, including her mom, sister and boyfriend Justin Gaston, decided to suprise Baldwin at a book signing, where he showed her the HM tatooed on his arm. Miley conceded defeat and agreed to letting Balwin do a cameo on her show.

Miley Cyrus' Disney Birthday Bash

What do you get a teenage girl who has everything for her birthday? Well, for Miley Cyrus, Disney was shut down for her Sweet Sixteen Birthday Celebration over the weekend. The Hannah Montana star performed on a floating stage in front 5,000 fans, each of whom spent $250 for tickets. The celebration lasted until about 11 p.m.

“My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I’m good for a while,” Miley Cyrus said, prior to an early 16th birthday celebration at the amusement park. Well, at least she recognizes that! My sweet sixteen was at my house in New Jersey with a homemade birthday cake! Ha!

Celebs like David Archuleta, Demi Lovato, Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, and Steve Carell, were all in attendance for the bash. Selena Gomez Roots For Team Jonas

Just in case you haven't been paying attention to the latest tween feud in Hollywood, here's a recap: First came the Miley Cyrus/Selena Gomez YouTube feud - then Kevin Jonas was spotted wearing a "Team Demi & Selena" shirt in support of Selena Gomez (who had reportedly dated the youngest Jonas brother at one point in time.)

Miley and Selena Feud Getting Out of Hand

If you thought the YouTube videos were out too much, not to mention the obviously fake Teen Choice Awards pictures, or Miley's recent interview about dating the youngest Jonas brother, then you're in for a shock.

The Jonas brothers were spotted leaving a New York City hotel on Sunday with oldest brother Kevin wearing at "Team Demi and Selena" t-shirt.

It's not just the Jonas brothers either. You can get your own team t-shirt and help a pointless celebrity feud spiral even more out of hand.

Miley's Achy Breaky Heart

Billy Ray isn't the only one in the family with a broken heart. Daughter, Miley's was broken by Nick Jonas the singer revealed.

Cyrus, 15, said that they were each other's first loves.

"Nick and I loved each other," Cyrus said. "We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn't fun."

The couple had an initial chemistry that brought them together.

"We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met," Cyrus said. "He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, 'I think you're beautiful and I really like you.' And I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.'"

Jonas, 15, is now dating Disney star Selena Gomez, with whom Cyrus is reported to have a feud.

Perhaps the young singer is truly not over Jonas, and is now revealing the intimate details of their relationship to anger Gomez?
