Canadian Pop Star Avril Lavigne beat out Justin Timberlake in not one but two coveted awards Thursday night in Munich, Germany. She won Most Addictive Track for "Girlfriend" and the honor of Solo Artist of 2007. Timberlake who dominated last year, having the most nominations, this year came away empty-handed.
Nelly Furtado, another Canadian, won Album of the Year for "Loose", which sold around 7 million copies to date.
