It seems that someone may have been trying to sabotage the winner of the Miss Puerto Rico competition. Police have stated that this year's winner Ingrid Marie Rivera is the possible victim of pageant sabotage. According to the report Miss. Rivera's clothing and make-up were coated with pepper spray. The pageant winner broke into a rash and had to ice down between rounds. An official investigation is taking place at this time to attempt to discover the culprit. Miss Rivera will represent Puerto Rico at the 2008 Miss Universe competition. This almost reminds me of a scene straight out of the movie "Drop Dead Gorgeous"!
