Mark Ruffalo's brother Scott (age 39) is clinging to life after a gunshot wound to the back of his head. The incident took place Monday December 2nd. Mark's brother is a hairstylist in the Santa Monica and Beverly Hills area. Scott remains in intensive care in a Los Angeles hospital with his wife Luzelena and brother Mark by his side.
Beverly Hills police confirmed that a man was shot on North Palm Drive at 1:30 a.m. on Monday at the building where Scott Ruffalo lives. Police are investigating the shooting but refusing to provide further details. The most information the Beverly Hills police have provided is that they "haven't pinpointed anything yet." Police are uncertain if Scott Ruffalo is a victim of a criminal act, but some reports detail a suspicious shooting specifically at his apartment and that the shooting was 'execution style'. It appears the police have not identified the shooter or a motive.
Mark Ruffalo survived a benign tumor in 2002. Let's hope his brother can pull through too.
