Genelia D’Souza, the bubbly heroine of the youth flick Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, has been signed up by the comedy director David Dhawan for his film Hook Ya Crook.
Interestingly, the role that Genelia is doing was supposed to go to Vidya Balan. But reportedly Bipasha Basu freaked out when she heard that her boyfriend John Abraham was working with Vidya. Well, it looks like the rumours during the shoot of Salaam-E-Ishq are still fresh in her mind!
Hook Ya Crook is a comedy romance produced by UTV that will begin shooting from January 7th in Hyderabad. Uday Chopra, who did a fabulous job in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, is the other star and David is happy to have her on board.
Well, we can say that Vidya’s loss turned out to be Genelia’s gain. Well, the Balan babe needs to get her act together fast. Otherwise the youngsters of B-Town are going to take all the limelight away right from under her nose! Well, this is one lady who’s game for anything artistic.
