Ashlee Simpson Blogs About New Baby!

“Hey everyone! I haven’t written in a while, just wanted to write and check in! Motherhood is the most fantastic experience I have ever been thru, Bronx makes me laugh and smile everyday! I finally left the house for Fall Out Boy’s show on Monday night, which was so good. Their new songs sound awesome live, I can’t wait for their new record! And last night I went to Pete and Bronx’s godfather Travis’ artshow. It’s amazing to see how many artistic outlets those boys have! Made me very proud. It was an awesome show and so many of our friends and family came out to support. I hope you guys have a great holiday, I can’t wait to spend it with my new family. Christmas tree goes up tomorrow!
XO Ash"
Oh, HELL No!

Emo baby has arrived...and he's gonna wanna crawl right back in when he figures out his name.
NME has reported that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson had a healthy, bouncy baby boy last night...that they proudly named Bronx Mowgli Wentz.
BRONX MOWGLI? He's probably already on his way to his lawyer's office to file for emancipation from his parents.
BRONX MOWGLI? First of all, his initials are BMW! Trust me. That wasn't a coincidence. They just want a free car. Second of all, his short initials are BM. Enough said.

A spokesperson told NME, "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"
Correction: BMW is not happy. Ass and Pete may think he's crying, because he's a little baby, but that's not the case. He's crying because his name is BMW and he already hates life!!! With a name like BMW, he can either be a low-rent neighborhood rapper or a low-rent neighborhood DJ.
Somewhere in the world, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale (aww. SMUSH SMUSH SMUSH.) has stopped crying over his name and is finally smiling, because someone has an even fuglier name than him.
Could Be Big Baby News...

Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, 29, just updated his official site with some interesting news! We'll keep you posted, but it looks like there may be a baby coming! Pete's wife of six months, Ashlee Simpson, 24, was due to have that kid any day now, she was getting huge! Wentz was supposed to appear on Larry King Live but this latest post explains why he had to cancel:
“Due to breaking news and scheduling conflicts, I will not be appearing on Larry King Live tonight, though I am a big fan of the show and look forward to appearing on it in the future. I also look forward to the chance to continue supporting civil rights and speaking out against the passing of Proposition 8 and others like it (I’m looking at you Arizona and Florida) whenever and wherever i can.”
Hmm, thoughts? We Are Lovin' This! Go Fall Out Boy!

Fall Out Boy's new album, Folie a Deux, is currently scheduled to go on sale on election day in America, Tuesday, November 4th. The band is now having serious doubts about the 'cutesy' election day tie-in and hope that their label changes the release date. This is pretty cool, we are feelin' Fall Out Boy on this one, good decision.
Read further for more, the band explains, "Six months ago we thought it would be a fun idea to release our album on election day but this is not the election to be cute. We felt as though rather than making a commentary we were only riding the wave of the election. This seemed less and less like what we intended to do and more of a gimmick. It is now in the hands of our label to give us a new release date… it is our intent to get our record out this year and as soon as possible — as we made sure to have it done in time for its original release."
The elections are a serious matter! According to Pete Wentz, a member of the band, the new date for their upcoming album is now December 16th!
PCM Picture Of The Day!

Wentz is enjoying time off from his band's touring schedule while Mayer is in the middle of a summer world tour. Wentz, of course, is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first child with popstar wife Ashlee Simpson. Is Mayer still with Jen Aniston?
This pair makes for a great PCM Picture of The Day!
Ashlee & Pete Do Lunch

Pete Wentz's Not-So-Glamorous Life

His current lifestyle is much more mellow than you think. "I'm becoming my dad, actually. I get up at 7 a.m. to drive [to work] down Sunset with traffic that I complain about. And then I come home, and I have a pregnant wife and two puppies."
That pregnant wife he is referring to is Ashlee Simpson. I want these two to get their own reality show!
Pete Wentz explains pregnancy denials
Pete Wentz sent an email to MTV News explaining why he denied his new wife, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, is pregnant. Just last month the Fall Out Boy musician denied the swirling rumors, but later the couple just refused to answer questions regarding an impending child.
The couple recently confirmed to FriendsOrEnemies.com that they are, indeed, expecting a baby, and they had wanted to wait until after the first trimester to confirm the news.
In the May 29 email, Wentz wrote: "Every woman, no matter who they are or what they do for a living, has the right to wait at least 3 months before sharing this very personal news. We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple."
Wentz said he was at a loss as to how to address the rumors and media attention. "Being a boy I have no idea how to respond to such things and my first instinct was to protect her and the baby."
"It's insane that you can't let happy news brew in Hollywood. This wasn't about press or anything. It was about the health of the baby and trying to find a way to be happy with what should be the most happy time of our lives in the middle of a press blitz," he said.
And while Wentz did apologize for lying to MTV News last month, he said his main concern is the baby.
"I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend."
Baby Confirmation!

It's confirmed... like we needed it... Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are expecting a bundle of joy.
The newlyweds confirmed it this evening. Ashlee said that she wanted to wait until after the first trimester to report the happy news.
"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," the couple wrote on the site FriendsOrEnemies.com. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."
Ashlee Simpson changes name

Ashlee Simpson has decided to change her name to Ashlee Wentz in honor of her recent wedding to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, People reported.
"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," the singer told People. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."
She said that while she'll go by Ashlee Wentz in her personal life, professionally she'll be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
Her new husband said that he let Ashlee choose which name she would go by.
"These decisions with Ashlee and her name are all completely up to Ashlee," Wentz said. "I want her to do these kinds of things the way she wants to do them."
But he did say he was flattered by her decision to take his name.
"Oh man, I was like upgrade me! You know what I'm saying? The Wentz family, our Christmas card just got upgraded!" he added. "It feels insane. It feels unreal."
Ashlee & Pete's People Cover

It should come as no surprise that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are on the cover of the new issue of People, particularly after the magazine worked out a more than one million dollar deal for exclusive rights to the wedding photos.
The cover features the first picture to be released of the couple at their wedding, plus insets of maid of honor Jessica Simpson and Wentz's bulldog.
Wentz was on KIIS-FM's "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" Tuesday morning, and he revealed the location of the couple's honeymoon - in the basement of their Los Angeles home. He refused to confirm pregnancy rumors, though.
"Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed," he said. "The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees."
Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz tie the knot

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tied the knot in an intimate ceremony Saturday evening, their spokesperson told People.
The couple wed at the Encino home of the bride's parents, sources told E! News.
"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," the spokesperson said.
Simpson's father, Joe, performed the nondenominational 7 p.m. service. Among the 150 guests were the bride's sister and maid of honor Jessica, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden and Wentz's Fall Out Boy bandmates. Jessica Simpson took Tony Romo, although reports have stated that the two broke up.
The ring-bearer was Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway.
The bride wore a Monique Lhuillier gown and Neil Lane jewelry, while the bridal party was dressed in Vera Wang.
A source told E! News that the wedding had a "goth-like" motif; many of the guests wore "black or very dark" clothing and female guests painted their nails black, resulting in a "very unwedding like" themed affair.
The reception reportedly had an Alice in Wonderland theme.
According to E! Online, guests parked in a nearby parking garage and were shuttled to the Simpson family home. Although large tents blocked the view, security was tight as helicopters with paparazzi flew above the compound.
The wedding festivities began on Thursday with bachelor and bachelorette parties, and on Friday there was a rehearsal dinner at Jessica Simpson's home.
It is the first marriage for both Simpson and Wentz, who are also expecting their first child, according to sources who spoke to E! News.
More Ashlee Simpson wedding news

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have reportedly made a deal with People, giving the magazine rights to the wedding photos for well over a million dollars.
"We're thrilled that celebrities continue to choose People as the place for their most intimate photos," a rep from the magazine said. "We do not comment on specifics of any deals."
According to E!, Tina Simpson threw a bachelorette bash for her youngest daughter last night. A source said the "mellow" party lasted a few hours, ending before midnight. Only about a dozen friends attended the affair at Joe and Tina Simpson's Encino home.
Meanwhile, Joe Simpson took his future son-in-law and a few of Wentz's friends to Beverly Hills hot spot Mr. Chow for a two-hour bachelor dinner.
In other wedding news, there are differing reports about whether or not Tony Romo will be in attendance. Reps for Jessica Simpson and Romo continue to deny break-up rumors about the couple.
However, a friend of the couple said the two are in different places in their lives. Jessica Simpson, who has already been married and divorced, has reportedly been putting pressure on Romo to wed.
"Jessica has made no secret of the fact she wants to get married, and with all the Ashlee wedding talk and Jess' dad's involvement, Tony was obviously feeling it," a source said. "I wouldn't be surprised if he just couldn’t go through with the proposal and that's what's caused the break."
However, the Chicago Sun-Times said Simpson's dad is to blame and offered "unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica."
Ashlee Simpson Wedding News

According to Internet reports, Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, are rushing to the altar, sending out invitations to friends and families to attend their nuptials on Saturday, May 17.
The website Hollyscoop.com has reported that Simpson and Wentz are trying to keep the details, particularly the location of the ceremony, under wraps. "The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding, but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles," an unidentified source told the website.
The two announced their engagement through their website in early April, although rumors had been swirling since New Year's Eve, when Simpson was wearing what looked to be an engagement ring.
Simpson finally confirmed the news on FriendorEnemies.com, writing: "We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes — it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and hear it straight from us."
The two have been a couple since late 2006 and, according to a source who spoke to People, are also expecting their first child together.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are having a baby

According to OK Magazine, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting a baby. The newly engaged couple will become parents in October, and are planning their wedding ceremony for May.
The two have support from both their friends and family. One friend told the magazine the following:
“These two love each other so much, are so happy about becoming parents and are fortunate enough to have really supportive families on both sides. They’ll figure it all out.”
Simspon’s rep did not respond to requests for a comment. The twenty-two-year-old singer/actress is expecting her new album Bittersweet World, to be released on April 22nd. Her twenty-eight-year-old husband-to-be, Pete Wentz, is the bassist for Fall Out Boy who recently released their album Live in Phoenix.
