MTV Video Music Awards Recap

Ah, what can I say about MTV's VMA's. While Britney Spears performance was less than the awe inspiring fete it was supposed to be, I give the girl credit for getting up there and attempting to make it work, especially with all the tabloid hoopla that surrounds her these days. Definitely the more stand out performance of the evening, at least in my opinion would have had to have been Chris Brown or Linkin Park. Britney could take some lessons from Mr. Brown about how to really bring down the house. Most of the broadcast took place from different suites within the Palms Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, I believe they were attempting to make it look like a bunch of different parties all going on at the same time, but in actuality it was a jumbled mess. Most of the performances by other artists were cut short, and the camera work was just a mess. Next time I think they should stick to the tried and true amphitheater, with everything happening in one room, unless this is just MTV's way of getting more visitors to their website to actually watch the performances in their entirety. Who knows? Can definitely say the show was somewhat entertaining and left me wondering a few things.
Wondering just how many people are going to be searching around for footage of that rocker boy fight between Tommy Lee and Kid Rock?
Wondering about the backlash of certain Sarah Silverman comments?
and definitely wondering how Miss Teen South Caroline a.k.a Map Girl got on the show?
