Britney Spears finally reunited with her estranged mother Lynne after she lost custody of her two sons.
"Brit really needed her mom," a source told People magazine. "So Lynne flew out and they met."
Lynne and her other dughter Jamie Lynn flew from their home of Kentwood, La. to Los Angeles on Friday night. They stopped by the singer's Beverly Hills home around 3 a.m. before driving to her new Malibu house.
Spears needs all the support she can get as she and ex-husband Kevin Federline's custody battle remains heated. Spears lost primary custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James, but she is allowed supervised visitation. According to a court document released Thursday, "the monitor shall terminate visitation immediately if any conduct or action by [Spears] endangers the minor children."
Additionally, Soears and Federline must complete three joint counseling sessions before the next hearing on Oct. 26. Spears must also undergo three individual counseling sessions and twice-weekly random drug and alcohol tests.
