The short ceremony was performed by minister Jim Beam and featured Nashville songwriter Marcus Hummon's performance of Rascal Flatt's "God Bless the Broken Road," a meaningful song for the couple.
The black-and-white themed wedding featured sophisticated décor and a southern menu of fried chicken, biscuits and macaroni and cheese. Approximately 130 guests were in attendance.
"It was really very elegant, but Sara wanted it to feel like you were at her house," said friend and wedding planner Traci Phillips of The Perfect Party.
Evans, 37, met former University of Alabama quarterback Barker, 35, last fall through their minister, Joe Beam. The two were both going through divorces and seeking support from Beam.
"He was our own personal matchmaker," Evans said. "I think God told Joe to get us together."
The two have been engaged since March. Evans has three children and Barker, now the host of a Birmingham, Ala. morning sports radio show, has four from a prior marriage.
