According to Exhibitor Relations estimates, Steve Carell's 'Get Smart' topped the weekend box office with $29.2 million in ticket sales.The three-day total was nearly three times the amount the first big screen rendering of the cult-classic TV show made during its entire run. 'Get Smart' also marks Carell's biggest opening as a leading man.
'Kung Fu Panda' held onto the second place, beating out last weekend's top finished, 'The Incredible Hulk.'
Mike Myers' latest, 'The Love Guru,' came in a disappointing fourth place in ticket sales, taking in a meager $14 million.
Several movies have remained in the top 10 for much of the month, including the newest 'Indiana Jones' flick, 'Iron Man' and 'Sex and the City: The Movie.'
