Disney/Pixar's film 'WALL-E' topped the weekend box office, taking in an $62.5 million, according to estimates by Exhibitor Relations. It marked the biggest Pixar film opening since 2004's 'The Incredibles.'Angelina Jolie and James McEvoy's 'Wanted' was second, with $51.1 million in ticket sales. However, the the action flick was released in 800 fewer theaters than 'WALL-E,' so it actually outgrossed the family-friendly film by near $500 per screen.
'Wanted' marks the biggest opening ever for Jolie.
Steve Carrell's 'Get Smart' was knocked down to third place this weekend, but ticket sales were down less than 50 percent.
