Bollywood hottie, Bipasha Basu is hitting out at critics who has branded her pairing opposite heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming flick Bachna Ae Haseeno as odd due to the age difference between them.
Bipasha is furious that the Indian paparazzi tends to get biased when older actresses are paired opposite young heroes and doesn’t mind if an oldie romances a teenage actress.
The Bong babe quips, “If late 20s is old, what is 60s? Are only 16-year-old kids supposed to do films? What is two years elder or five or even 10? Does it look strange on screen? No it doesn’t. I’m working with Neil Nitin Mukesh who’s two years younger than me, Ranbir must be four years younger, but so what? Aishwarya has married a man three years younger, is that a big deal? Do they look like misfits? No, so I find these discussions very strange. I can’t tell you how many people have said that I’m looking the best with Ranbir,”
