Katy Perry may have "Kissed a Girl," but Shiré "Used to LovHer." After debuting in early July, "Used to LovHer" is proving to be the next controversial anthem of the summer with its spicy lyrics and sultry vocals provoking buzz across the nation and throughout the Internet community.
The video for the hit single, shot on location in Los Angeles, proves to be an even steamier visual to an already candid story line. While "Used to LovHer" may seem to make reference to Shiré's old girl group LovHer - put together by Sisqó of Dru Hill - the song and video are pieced together in such a way as to have tongues wagging and the public speculating.
Shiré is the first sign to Grammy nominated production duo MIDI Mafia's new label Family Ties Entertainment and Hot City Music Group, which is distributed by Steve Rifkind's SRC Records/Universal Motown. Shiré's amazing vocal range combines the heartache of Mary J. Blige with her uniquely feisty spirit. Be on the look out for her debut album "Pickin' Up the Pieces" to be released later this year. Her mix tape "Baltimore's Daughter" is available now as a free download.
