Australian actress Cate Blanchett gave birth to her third son Ignatius Martin Upton on Sunday.
He weighs 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and Blanchett‘s media relations manager has stated that “All are well and very happy.”
Blanchett intends to bounce back quickly and will co-chair an art panel at the Australian national summit next Saturday. She will also appear with Harrison Ford in the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which is set to be released in theaters next month.
At thirty-eight, the academy award winner and her playwright husband Andrew Upton are co-artistic directors at the Sydney Theatre Company. The couple have two other sons Dashiell who is six and Roman who is three.
