Comedian Jerry Seinfeld was involved in a nasty rollover car accident after the brakes on one of his vintage cars gave out Saturday night. Seinfeld was unharmed in the accident. It is stated that he tried to use the emergency brake in the 1967 Fiat BTM, and when that did not work, he then has to swerve to keep the car from plowing into an intersection, which caused the car to rollover just a few feet from the highway. Seinfeld was driving alone at the time of the accident and the accident is blamed on mechanical failure. Seinfeld returned to his East Hampton home that night, a little shaken up, but unscathed.
