American Idol Contestant One Day - Stripper The Next!

David Hernandez, 24, one of the American Idol contestants has a deep, dark secret! Well, the cat is out of the bag now. Club manager of Dick's Cabaret, Gordy Bryan said on Monday that Hernandez worked as a stripper, appearing fully nude and performing lap dances for the club's "mostly male" clientele.
According to Bryan, Hernandez steadily worked at the club for three years until September 30, 2007. Hernandez, who originally auditioned for "Idol" in San Diego on July 30, 2007, is now in the Top 16 contestants on the Fox show.

Last week, he earned rave reviews from the judges after his performance of The Temptations' "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." He is scheduled to perform with the other male contestants on tonight's show and no word has been given about the allegations and whether American Idol will keep him on the show.
