Since Lindsay Lohan's exit from rehab she been turning her focus towards her music career. Her last album, released in 2005, was not a huge hit and she's determined to make this new album a success.
Recording in both LA and New York City, Lindsay is working with hip-hop stars such as Ne-Yo and possibly 50 cent. She's taking her music seriously this time and wants to make an amazing record. Lindsay is hoping for a sound somewhere between "Kylie Minogue and Rihanna," something that people can dance too. Both Kylie and Rihanna's most recent albums have been extreme sensations in the music/club scene so maybe Lohan is hoping to gain some of the same success. Two tracks have been recorded already with her new dance sound and according to her mother, Dina, they sound amazing.
Lindsay is also hoping to tour with the new album. But not to worry, the actress isn't throwing away her film career. Recently speaking about worries of being an "out of work actress" Lindsay is currently signed on for two new movies. She's set to start filming a new comedy with Jack Black called Ye Olde Times and is still on for starring in the tango film, Dare to Love Me.
It seems like Lindsay has a busy schedule and it should be interesting to see what she can produce.
