Recently I received two hard cover, glossy books from luxury rug firm
Mansour Modern. One showcased their new
Chinois Collection (more on that later) and the other featured the designs that stemmed from their collaboration with designer
Victoria Hagan. I've always been a big fan of Hagan's interiors so it wasn't really a surprise that I fell head over heels for her rugs as well. The Kelly was an instant favourite. The pattern comes in three colourways and is a stylish option for anyone looking to bring a bit of equestrian chic into their home (without being too obvious about it.)

The Kelly 02 looks more greenish-grey than blue in print |
Shagreen was another rug that caught my eye. Especially the colourway below, which in the book I received looks grey with lavender trim--absolutely perfect for the colour scheme of our new bedroom!

Nature was a huge influence on Hagan when designing the collection and she was also "influenced by bold geometric forms and strong silhouettes. The beauty is in the mix: organic and geometric; contemporary and traditional, natural yet luxurious. Drawing inspiration from ancient motifs as well as modern iconography..." You can see all of these inspirations in her beautiful rugs with their geometric shapes and spot on colours.
Some other great designs in Victoria Hagan's collection for Mansour Modern:
|
Marie Louise 03 - This style comes in 3 colourways |
|
Miguel 03 - This style is available in 5 colourways |
|
Fantasia 02 - Available in 4 colourways (I really like the dark grey too) |

I think this is my fave of the
Chinois Collection, which includes nine designs (and countless colourways):
