After all the controversy surrounding her title of Miss California, Carrie Prejean has actually lost her crown. She was originally told by Donald Trump that she could keep her crown, but apparently she failed to uphold her contract with K2 Productions. Carrie skipped multiple pageant appearances and that is what cost her the crown. "This was a business decision, based solely on contract violations,"Keith Lewis, executive director of K2 Productions said.
What did Donald Trump have to say about this after supporting her through all the controversy? "I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so," Trump said. "Unfortunately it just doesn’t look like it is going to happen and I offered Keith my full support in making this decision."
Tami Farrell will now hold the title of Miss California USA and Carrie plans to write a book.
