Is It The End of Will Ferrell?
After all of the hype and high expectations for Will Ferrell's new movie, Land Of The Lost, dissapointedly came in 3rd after Up and The Hangover. It brought in only $19.5 million, which may not sound like an epic train wreck until you consider that its budget and marketing costs were reportedly close to $200 million and it had one of the biggest stars in Hollywood on its poster. Owen Gleiberman, a move critic, wrote, "the film's only conviction is its investment in its total lack of conviction,"that's got to hurt.
Is this all due to the movie just not being that great or is this the start of a downhill slope for Will Ferrell? Is America done with Will Ferrell and his comedy?
If you were planning on going to see Land Of The Lost and expecting lots of laughs maybe you should wait till it comes out on video. It might not be worth to all the way to the theaters to see it.
